Why do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend?

It's because he likes me and I like him. It's a close friendship. We enjoy each other's company. That's basically all there is to it from my perspective.

Well if I had one, it's cause I love her for who she is, to fill a hole in my life, and make my life a lot less stressful.

To share my life with and to teach me the nature of what it is to love unconditionally and deeply.

You know that feeling when you're sitting alone, staring at a screen, nothing to do and all you want, all you burn for, is the feeling of someone else being there?

And then that wonderful feeling when someone IS there...talking, snuggles, shared projects, etc...the void is filled.

Yep.

That's why we do it.

You find the right one and the void is just about filled.
