Ah, see there's a benefit of an aspie. I shut up like no one you've ever met.

I tease my bf's that men worldwide complain women won't shut up, and yet they get a girl who doesn't talk and they b***h about that, too!

it is more about the possibility of having an opinion/mind of your own

In my opinion it's a waste of time, as whatever image or plan someone has in they head is what they fallowing & not building one instead, in the end they either want an opinion of yours or they just say that but don't really want the truth, or they did want the truth.. ie:- Does my bum look big in this RUN, in the end you really can't win...

Unless you find a way of not been took or asked... like males who do washing up make it look like they can't do it, not because they can't, but they know that she will not ask if he does a bad job...

In the end banging your head against the wall is easier. As they want you to respond in different ways, by trying to read on what response they looking for.

Well, there’s got to be a happy median. :)

Why would you want to be with someone you can predict? That's exactly like being alone, except noisier.

Unpredictability in a woman, for men at least, is highly underrated.
Why would you want to be with a woman who's emotions and actions seemed random? A woman who demanded her mind be read to have any clue as to her disposition from one moment to the next?

The OP is saying predictable; not boring. Someone who doesn't have tempest moods or random behaviour or actions.

I think, in the end, people want someone who's a lot like them, only a little different...;)

I don't think there's anything wrong with a guy who doesn't like intelligent women. To each his own. I like them however, as it means in-depth conversations, more creative, and better at playing the bossy role (I don't listen all the time, but it's more fun).
