Haha, thanks for the advice sweety. I found a product on the internet though that I want to try out sometime. It's a spray that you apply to your back and it makes the hair disintegrate.

Please post a product name. I have no back hair but I'd like to spray it on people who do dickhead things. 35 items in the Express Lane? Your kid is throwing things in a restaurant? Just dinged someone's car with your door? Hope you didn't like your hair.

Outstanding cd1

pat666rick, back hair would be an embarrassing problem if you had a split tail or were planning to crossdress. If neither of these applies to you , then don't sweat it!

waxing chest/back is a very bad idea , you'll get razor spiky small hair in the next day. If you are willing to wax then you have to wax it daily ,otherwise you'll get spiky hard chest/back hair and that would look far more disgusting than your actual hair. Besides , if you are willing to wax all your body it's preferably to be fit otherwise you would look so feminine.

^I agree it would not only be the worst idea but the most painful of tortures. :x

Please wax. Chest hair is fine but hairy backs... 8O

I once 'dated' this guy who sported thick hair from the chest down. All over. Needless to say, I did not go there again.

Are there any girls out there with back hair? Or any hair in unwanted places?

My lil' niece who is only 6 years old has some back hair. I hope it doesn't grow out like mine, haha.

as a beauty theorpist (in training) we learn about unwanted hair
there are two types of hair thick black ones (called terminal) like you have on your head, and your pubes and armpits
and thin hair (called vellus) like on your face (women) and chest (women)
hormones in women affect hair growth when a woman is pregant the hormone in ballance can some times produce male hormones which cause her to grow side burns and other hair in unwanted places.

Hair is on your body for many reasons.
Hair on head is protection of your head for you not to have too much heat loss and also to cushion your fall something hits it.
underarm/pubic hair :protect against friction
body hair:provides some insulation and has a sensory function linked to the productution of sebum (the male hormone i was tlking about)
eyelashes: filter out dust and dirt and shade the eyes from excesive sunlight
eybrow: protect eye area and 'cushion' the brow bone.

there are mainy methods of hair removeal apart from waxing which (does hurt the 1st few pulls but you get used it. Waxing after the 1st time last for a month)

shaving (u may want to get ur parner to shave ur back if u cant reach or someone)

plucking (but believe me u dont want to this would take hours! lol)

threading hair is caught up in the thread and puled swiftly out of the follicle. (its just as affective as waxing)

abrasives (this is what the text book says ive never tried this) a pumice stone or abrasice glove rubbed over the skin in circular movements and the hair is broken off at the skin's surface. The effects of absasion on the skin are proberly more useful than the effects on hair growth, provided that the skin is not damaged

glad to help any questions i try and answer :D

Hey, thanks for the post! It's a weird coincidence that you happen to be a "pro" when it comes to hair. I just replied to your thread a few hours ago (I usually only leave replies in my own threads).

Do hair removal creams work well???

to be honest... i dont know lol i just wax and pluck

what i would try is going into your local cosmetics drug store and asking them. Always read the instructions on the packets and if you skin stays red for more then a day ypu've proberly not reacted well to the product.

Don't worry Pat,
I'm 17 & already have chest hair.

It's so embarrasing.

As for your back hair problem,
try the abrasives.

It hurts but it is worth it!

If you were to lose a girlfriend because of your back hair, then surely it would be a good loss, right?

Do you really want to go through the bother of removing the hair just to impress someone who wouldn't want you as you are naturally???

Better to learn to love the hair imo, for she who is worthy of your love will surely do the same.

My guy has back hair, and at first, it kind of startled me, but afterwards, I didn't mind. I figure each one of us have features we may not be the happiest about, but he accepts me for everything I am, I can overlook back hair easily :)

Chest hair doesn't bother me, only back hair. I think I started getting chest hair when I was 14 or so.
