Necromancy alert. XD

Actually I have started taking some pills...not acutane yet but I may move on to it if it doesn't work. Once I stop getting zits I'm going to resume using aloe vera gel, which helps with the scarring. It just takes a while and since I keep getting new zits, well...not much point yet. lol.

And I agree, Likho...Sedaka should totally cosplay as Alice. XD

i dunno if they prescribe acutane anymore... it's really bad stuff and messes with your retinoic acid receptors.

You look attractive the sedaka. The expression you have in your pictures reminds me of people who have had a stroke or partial paralysis of the face. Please don't take that as and insult, it doesn't make you look any less attractive.

eh... ive hear the whole "smile" thing a lot... or you look "tired" idk. no offense taken.

I'm pretty sure they still do; they tried to prescribe me it a few years ago, which I declined (one, it's got so many side effects, and two, I cleared up on my own anyway), but I know they put a classmate on it last year. That stuff is scary. (Side effects may include infertilty, liver failure, heart failure, etc, etc... Eep.)

yeah... still though, the worst side effect is due to it's mechanism of working on your retinoic receptors... which are responsible for axial development (ie how you develop from anterior to posterior as well as your limbs)... i remember when i was on it that each pill was packaged individually with a picture of a prego woman with a big red X over her on each of the tab labels... they also provided you with some lovely pics of deformed fetuses that will result if you get pregnant on this stuff. even if you're not a fetus, it's still pretty bad to have teenagers (majority of your population with skin issues) to be on it cause they're still growing and developing.

for me, the worst side effect was how much it dried me out. i wasn't popular by any means and it didn't help that that stuff gave me dandruff and flakey skin all over. i also got lots of joint pains from it... which didn't help my active martial arts activities.

i would only go on this stuff as a last resort... though i'm kinda glad i did cause it finally worked... i hope they now have many more options before putting people on this stuff.

Eesh, I'm sure as hell not going on that now. I had heard it was bad but didn't know the half of it. I just thought it increased suicide risk, which the dermatologist I saw said wasn't true.

Oh, I love acting, provided that I don't have to wear make up. That rules out anything professional, really. But I actually enjoy serious acting as much as silly stuff.
