"I don't wear a suit because it might take root" I've seriously probably worn 1 suit in the past 8 years. The results were a senior picture which my entire family started drooling over. Those were some awkward ass conversations. I honestly don't even have a picture of me in a shirt with even a single button on it.

That's kinda what happened with prom pictures and my senior photos. Everyone's like, "you look sooo pretty!" and I'm like, "Thanks but don't expect that to be an everyday occurrence." You saw my senior photo in the Hot Aspies pic thread and it just looks unnatural but my family loves that. :/

Yeah mine looks completely natural aside from the suit and the fact that I actually shaved and have no acne on my face (though most of that wasn't even photoshop...just a good day). I just can't get over how awkward it was. Especially since it's now obvious everyone would like that I get contacts and not dress grungy.

I had a bit of photoshopping done on mine (especially my hair.) but my skin was doing well because I wasn't under stress from the school year and stuff.

I ended up getting contacts because I wanted to have another option apart from wearing glasses every day. Not to mention some activities aren't friendly for my glasses. >.<

Glasses are good for me...I may smash them a lot but I have flex frames and they most of the time prevent shards of burning metal flakes from coming off my angle grinder and ending up in my eyes.

Well, I don't like when my glasses move around when I exercise and when they steam up when the temperature goes from cold to hot. I'm pretty finicky about my vision. I went to the eye doctor today and we discussed getting me disposable lenses. They work well for me so far. However, I thought it was a bit mean for him to ask me to put the contacts in after he dilated my eyes. It took much longer than it usually would. >.<

There is a solution to that I believe...my glasses only fog up when I'm eating ramen noodles, get out of the shower, or get out of a car that actually has AC. However, my friends when I was younger were into paintball and so was I. Masks fog up 20x worse than glasses. So they would put defogger stuff for a windshield on their masks to keep them from fogging up during games. I just inhale hard through my nose and it clears up.

Huh, that's interesting. Is it safe to inhale? No hallucinations or addictive properties? >.>

No more than felldew....naw idk but I mean it's probably better for you to have that on your glasses than a lot of s**t you encounter on a daily basis. I've heard new car smell is bad for your health because a lot of the interior is made out of petroleum based crap and the fumes are what you smell and I've heard that memory foam mattresses are the same way. Then you've got mold, dust, etc. from the other end of product life.

An anti-fogging wipe or even a spray that's wiped on and off I'd imagine would still be so miniscule amount of stuff that it probably would do negligible damage anyways. Like so bad I'd imagine that you'd want to saran wrap yourself when it rains to prevent the pollutants from getting into your skin.

Oh felldew, I see what you did there. XD

That's probably true. I just didn't know if the fogging wipe was toxic in any way. I don't know why it would be but you never know what's in stuff these days, even with an ingredients list on the back.

One of my friend's from HS is pregnant with her first child. I'm happy for them (although really jealous as well, having never been in a relationship.)

True, I'd imagine it's probably got some form of alcohol and maybe one or two other active ingredients. I'll need to go look at some the next time I'm at a gas station.

Everything is toxic these days, I'm doing my best to not think about it because I'd rather not have to make my life a strict routine of taking care of my teeth followed by popping pills that fortify my immune system, followed by pills that fortify my bones, followed by 9 other types of pills to supplement my lack of neurotransmitters which supposedly is what's behind me being every kind of psychological disorder known to man (and the reason I do "crazy" things like drag race lol). My seratonin in particular is 1/6th of what it should be. Then I'd need to monitor my fat, carbohydrates, etc. By the time I finished my morning routine it would be time for bed and I wouldn't have lived for a minute of the day. I value quality of life over longetivity, though at times I freak out (I spent hours the first time I went to a bar trying to figure out how many hours I took off my life by going to a bar for one night lol).

Yeah, that's a good way of looking at it. This reminds me of some extreme germaphobia I see in some people. I'm tempted to tell them that germs are everywhere so they better get used to it. Build up some tolerance and get over it. I have friends that are sick more often and longer than they should be and a good portion of the time they were raised by germaphobics. :/
