Hello...

I am 36, Female, Hetero, divorced, two children at home (one has Asperger's and the other is formally dx'd with Autistic Disorder though I think probably better suited as PDD). Yes, I am an aspie... You can probably imagine that the house can get quite goofy at times... it is usually two of us and one yelling for the two to stop. Lose-lose situation. How I love the calm times (daydreams... ok back to reality)
I just posted my pic a couple of days ago, and if you have been around this site a bit you will know where I put it.

Interests... right now just trying to keep my house as calm and chaos free as possible. (Don't laugh, the youngest gets overstimulated very easily.) I love researching just about anything.
I love to read novels, watch the History Channel, Discovery and some other programs mentioned in my other earlier posting.
I work full time for the government and do have a college education (although my writing and spelling do not show at times.)
Well I guess that is all that is fit to print. PM me if you are interested.
Hey Alex...are we ever going to get an angel smiley???? :)

Well I recently found a better picture of myself, so I thought I'd post that:

Again, I'm 22, hetero, I'll be in NJ until Jan. 18 and would love to meet up with an aspie chick just for a date or two (or whatever). After that I'm going back to upstate NY to finish up my bachelor's degree, and after that I really have no idea where I'll be living. So please, drop me a line ladies! (my previous ad is a page or two back, see that if you want more info)

Hi, my name's Joe. 31 y/o in Philadelphia, gay swm seeking same. Musician, artist, and looking for likeminded. Tired of trying to change for someone, looking for a relationship where we can both be ourselves. Important to know: atheist, interested in Ayn Rand, Carl Jung, mythology. Love various types of music, and studying musicology. Prefer 70's progressive rock the most. Someone who is also artistic or musician a plus, as well as intelligent discussion, balanced out by those goofy moments that mean more than they seem.Ultimately looking for someone to curl up with in bed or share the couch with on a cold night together, knowing that we are going in the same direction.

Not too optimistic but hey it's worth trying since it's only a post right?

My name's Josh, I'm a 32 yo male in Detroit, Michigan. I'm 6'1", long brown hair (about half way down my back; I keep it tied in a pony tail), brown eyes and glasses. I'm a computer programmer by trade and it's a big hobby of mine, but I'm also into sci-fi, anime, reading (sci-fi, science books, and anything by Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett) and I do a little gardening in the summer (I like to grow hot peppers.) I also enjoy working on my house...I'm a do-it-yourself guy when it comes to home improvement. Im very loyal and affectionate for the right person though i do enjoy having my space sometimes too.

I'm just looking for a nice girl that I can be myself around and who maybe share some of my interests...but mostly I just need s smart girl that can keep my interest intellectually and who has a sense of humor to keep me laughing. And she has to like animals! I have four cats and a dog and they aren't going anywhere. :)

*fingers crossed*

Hi all

I have only today realised that I [probably] have AS and I thought it might be nice to try dating someone like-minded (as we all know how wierd everyone else is!)

I am an attractive 33yo Perth girl and was wondering if there are any eligible Aussie Aspie guys out there (Perth preferably, but hey - I travel).

Hope to hear from you :-)

TheKatGirl.

Hey KatGirl, I'm from Perth, but I'm a little too young for you, methinks. It's always good to see another Perth person, though. Good luck with your hunt!

My gender-identification is flexible. According to this site, I'm female.

I would be seeking anyone who isn't gender-binary.

If you know what I'm talking about, and/or have a flexible gender identification of your own, feel free to pm me.

I mean, really... that's the thing that would be "most important" in a person that i would "meet" on Wr.pl.

Oh, yeah... also, feel free to PM me if using "WP" to shorten WrongPlanet makes you twinge a bit.

Hei Josh,

It is great that I could find your message from this board. There are not many similar creative and profound One`s sharing musicality and even more :-)) Here in Finland several men are very shy and silent to express openly their personality or feelings. These computer programmers have a habit to begin a discussion by staring at a woman.

Maybe if you are not frustrated too much or occupied could glance this brief description (or the profile under constrution).

Hei Friends!

As the previous persons, I could write a long list about joys and sorrows which are contributed by Asperger`s syndrome. However, I could not effect on
the heritance and choose my parents, avoid being teased at school for behaving mild and observing silently the others in
a group of class mates. Although the class mates or my family members did not seem to notice my skills, creativity and
profoundness, teachers and I were much aware.

Loneliness is in general a tribulation of this modern society but you self
can make something for it. Since I moved from home in order to study biochemistry in the university, new friends appeared and a medical student boy asked for dates. We loved and dated for a couple of years until both of us obtained jobs from separate towns.
It seems that part of the symptoms`s of Asperger`s syndrome are like illusion. The worse they become if we allow it to occur.
Frienships, appreciation and caring of fellowmen cannot be earned if you do not express them by yourself.

The current is hectic. I am studying nursing after working as a research scientist, take shifts in the hospital whenever asked, play volley ball with friends, read, paint and maintain healthy habits. The right man is missing. Soulmate, understanding, smart, humorous, academic and cute looking man who is open-minded, manages in his career, and is interested in global issues.
It is such a huge task though a few men hunt after me:-))

Hmm...I will head now for a long jogging before the evening shift in the hospital...Anyway take care of yourself and
have a great time. It would be very nice to hear from you.

Cheers,
Suvi

Recently signed up on Dating.com and match.com, but it's likely to be difficult finding someone who's not NT. I'm looking for a woman in San Antonio. Not necessarily for dating, but to correspond with. Preferably a little socially awkward :)
