You don't have to be nope, but being one normally helps. Or maybe its that reality star models have to be good looking in the first place to become one.

i had a lot of self esteem issues as a teen i didnt think i was pretty at all..i even considered a nose job at one point but i saw that they actually break your nose(gross) so i learned to accept myself as i am..it was a scary time in my life and it makes me so mad that aspie girls have such low self esteem and no one does anything about it..no..society only makes the problem worse. who are they to say one thing is beautiful when beauty is subjective?

I think every Aspie pretty much ends up with self esteem issues in some form (well asides those who somehow end up blinding themselves with total arrogance). Appearance is an easy scapegoat really to blame social problems on in life. The reality is that noone really cares too much how you look, but on the social subtleties. Society is the problem really, all the little social diktats that get issued on a weekly basis.

You might want to see if you can find Leil Lowndes "How to become a people magnet book" - it certainly makes interesting reading. Bittorrent is your friend.

sometimes it just makes me sad bc most people who i told about my as are scared of me when i did nothing wrong to them i was always nice to them even when they were rude to me i even let them take advantage of me bc i wanted friends so badly i was blind to the truth. and i look at her getting all the attention and i ask myself why? but i guess its better to have a few close friends than a bunch who dont give a s**t about you or are friends with u for the wrong reasons. i just transferred to a new school and im slowly making new friends here, i even talked to two girls from the track team.
