Eligible Odd-Bods! - The Premier Aspergian Singles List
Hello to all you Aspie studs out there
Age: 35
Height: 5'3"
Gender: Female, Feminine
Build: Very curvy
Location: Texas, USA
Orientation: Heterosexual
Seeking: Hetero men ages 33-45
I've been told I have a calming presence, and you can hear my warm smile on the phone. I have plus-size curves but self-confident. I exercise regularly, vegetarian. Despite my Aspergers and my introversion, I've modeled on a catwalk, as a plus-size woman--I am not ashamed of my body. I am happy with how God made me, and I don't cover up my natural beauty with make-up or fake hair color--what you see is what you get!
I work full-time and am a single mom of a 15-year-old. To read about my work and interests, please check out my Wrong Planet profile.
My ideal match: My best friend. Intuitive man even if he has a lot of trouble expressing emotions, he can sense somehow the emotional climate of others. Hard worker. I'd be happy with a man who has had few sexual partners like me, or a virgin. Maybe he has kids also, I'm accepting of them too. He must like physical touch other than just sex, because I'm a touchy-feely mate. He has cultivated some good social skills albeit still learning, and has at least 1-2 good friends. He's kind, even if it's hard to express feelings he tries to write them out or talk about it, he's not afraid to talk about emotions. Those around him respect him--his friends and his enemies could attest that he's an honest, Christian man who likes reading the Bible and sharing the Bible with others. Prayerful man. Does not drink alcohol, nonsmoker. Likes working with his hands. Confident in his work and seeks to keep his mind sharp. He prefers working outside to sitting around inside, therefore, video games is not one of his hobbies. He values eating as healthy as possible. (That's also an important factor to me.) He likes physical activity and wants his future wife to be his activity partner. He makes deliberate efforts to be around others. If he had opportunity, he would like to volunteer with teens and youth to help them stay on the right path in life, not just act like their play-buddy. He may have a past with women but chooses now to save sex for marriage.
It is my prayer that you would consider spiritual compatiblity the most important factor of your relationships with a potential spouse. I do. So glad someone taught me about biblical courtship. It's what I want. Curious about courtship? Watch the 2015 movie "Old Fashioned." Ellen White's book "The Adventist Home" is another good courtship resource.
Thank you for visiting my ad! If you are interested, please don't be shy! I just want to start with friendship and go from there. But if you want me you must pursue me, because I won't take you seriously otherwise, I don't pick up on suttle hints....May God bless you in your search.
^lol, which isn't necessarily a bad thing...just means that it'll probably be more difficult for her to find someone with those criteria.
TXorchid: have you tried dating sites tailored to Christians? Seems like you would have more success there.

Yes, I really spelled it out this time, lol! This was not my typical dating ad. I tailor-made the ad for this site--I took you Aspie guys seriously when y'all said no subtle hints!
Surely there would be a compromise if a promising fella wasn't a 100% match, though. Nobody is perfect!
I admire many qualities in men; my ad listed a majority of them. Truly, I don't expect any guy to be a 100% match to that description--it's my intention to be direct but not present this as "all or nothing."
But I've learned this much--actions speak louder than words. My dating ad just expounds on that principle. Bottom-line: I am interested in how a man lives his life--his values applied--above his passive interests.
If what I like in a man doesn't seem anywhere close to describing the reader, he just crosses me off his list and moves along, right? I'm also not here to amass responses from guys. (Some dating sites I've been on seem to want you to do that--when you exceed 50 overtures it feels soo ridiculous.) If one guy says hi from Wrong Planet then great and if not, I'm still doing good.

Thank you Beau for your suggestion! I don't date online much but have used Christian dating sites for years. I recently decided to seek out Aspie men not just NT men. So, how to find a fellow Aspie on mainstream dating sites, Christian-focused or no? I accept that I have Aspergers; yet even I am reticent to put that out there in an online dating community that may not be understanding about the Autism spectrum. When a great guy omits the fact that he has Aspergers from his mainstream dating ad, there's a side effect: Aspie girls like me who are looking for him can't find him. So, I'm trying here....Who knows what could result?
Friendship and getting wiser about Aspergers is mainly why I'm here. And I believe I will make many new friends here on Wrong Planet. Finding an interested guy isn't crucial to my happiness. I view that prospect as icing on the cake.
Heyy speak for yourself j/k!
That's a good attitude and approach to have. What you said makes sense; might as well cast a wide net and see what happens lol. Anyways, hope you enjoy it here

Hey yall. I had an account on here but forgot the log in. So this is my new one.
I'm Collin and I'm from Louisiana. I'm 25 and my job is a communications soldier in the Army. I have "man's" body, per say (hairy chest and legs, some muscle build, bit of a belly, etc) and i thourghly enjoy video games, fishing, and scuba diving. I enjoy working out but not in front of a bunch of people (unless it's front of fellow soldiers). I do own a hunting rifle and plan on adding more to that collection (at some point..).
As for the type of girl i'm looking for? Hmm...well, red hair, black hair, and dyed hair are my favorite colors on woman's head but i'm throwing a wide net in the big pond here, so i'm open to new horizons. I will say i'm not in to women who are in to unhealthy habits or are overly fat or overly skinny; it causes health problems and, being a soldier, i may not alwas be there to take care of her.
That's a good point. I see a lot of girls post in this thread, and then vanish. I just imagine their PM inbox exploding and scaring them away.
Well if any of us were "perfect" from society's point of view, none of us would even be on this website
I know I'm way far from perfect, I dread the idea of passing my genes along. Not to sound depressing, I just have a lot of hereditary health issues =| Blech.
...anyway, back to the topic...

Ok, guess it can't hurt to try...
Sex: Female
Age: 21
Sexuality: Bisexual, monogamous
Religion: Agnostic, but whatever
Location: Missouri, U.S.A
Appearance: 5'6", long dirty blonde hair, freckles, about average weight.
About me: I am currently in community college trying to finish my bachelors. After that I plan to go to university and get a degree in animation. I enjoy movies (mostly horror and animated films), sci-fi and fantasy, science, The Beatles, classical music, classical literature, art, and animals. For fun I enjoy either staying at home, relaxing and playing video games, or going out for an adventure. I'm not sure if I have AS or not, but does that matter? At the very least I seem to get along well with and understand people who have it.
Things I'm looking for: A man or woman 18-26, who shares some of my interests and who's ok with my sexuality. I'm ok with just about any religion so long as you are ok with me being agnostic. In decent shape. MUST like animals. I generally like clean shaven men. The more well groomed you are, the more points you get in my book. If you can cook that's a big plus (I'm a foodie). I like nerdy people.
If you are interested, comment or message me. Although I might get shy and not reply.
Currently located in Shakopee, MN.
24 years old. I'm queer, bisexual and non-binary.
She/her pronouns, although I also really like being called Sir.
5'3", thin, about 110 lbs, short dark hair, glasses.
I don't smoke, rarely drink, and have never so much as dabbled in any recreational drugs.
Not religious, although I wouldn't mind dating someone who is, so long as they don't attempt to convert me to their faith.
I still live with my parents, two brothers and three cats. As a matter of personal preference as well as financial and emotional necessity, I have no intention of ever living alone. I love having someone to come home to and as long as my parents like having me around this situation is ideal.
Depending upon the context of the interaction, my first impressions have been described as: cold, absurdly childish and delightful, shy, loud, blunt, clingy, quirky, silly, dorky, an unexpectedly biting wit, bad puns, dirty humor and an engaging intellect.
Seeking a companion in life. Someone who enjoys long walks, cuddles, playful teasing and thoughtful discussions.
Ideally, a long-term and monogamous arrangement, although I'm willing to make special exceptions. I'll consider long-distance with anyone that is adept enough to maintain interest via text and video chat.
Considering I've been visiting again lately, I guess I'll try my luck here again with an updated entry.
Hello, I'm Liam. I'm 5f 10/11 in, straight, 28 years old, from North Yorkshire in the UK.
I love video games, and enjoy things such as Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Pokemon, Chrono Trigger, Tales of, and Zelda, to name a few examples. Have played a few online games in the past as well. Would be happy to play games online with someone, if the opportunity came up.(Good way to break the ice maybe, as well)
I also enjoy a bit of anime, be it your garden variety, or film equivalent. I'm a huge fan of Trigun, and really enjoyed Chobits. Also watched the first season of Hetalia. Outside of that, watched various bits and pieces on TV over the years. In terms of films, really enjoy most things Studio Ghibli, and have seen other things like Perfect Blue, and Paprika. I have a bit of a collection to watch, but I've been awful at getting round to doing so.
I've even attended some anime conventions. A couple in the UK, and one while visiting the United States. Whilst visiting Michigan, I attended a big convention there called Youmacon, and even Cosplayed as Seifer Almasy from Final Fantasy 8.
As well as all that, I like chatting on the computer, web surfing, watching tv, and the occasional movie when one is on the box. With regular TV, I usually like to watch game shows, sports, comedy, and the occasional documentary.
Some sports I enjoy taking an interest would be, Ice Hockey, F1, Football(Soccer), Snooker, Rugby, to name some off the top of my head.
I enjoy occasional walks, and used to play Alto Saxophone for a time.(Hope one day to return to learning it) I love music, and don't know how I would have made it this far without it. I've probably ended up with quite eclectic tastes in music, but wouldn't have it any other way.
As for my personality: I'm empathetic, kind, thoughtful, polite, caring, sharing, loving, honest, open, and silly, but have it in me to be serious too when the situation needs. Sometimes I'm a bit naive, as well as being a bit stubborn and sensitive.(I figure it's only fair I paint a full picture)
I'd love to meet a nice lady, whether close or far away, and see where things go from there. I know not everyone does long distance, but personally I have no issues with it. So feel free to drop me a message, even if your far away. Similar interests would be nice, but not essential.
If I pique your curiosity, please feel free to drop me a message. If you'd feel more comfortable using other platforms of communication, just let me know. I'm on a few different places and spaces. Lastly if you'd care to see a picture, I'll gladly share one with you over pm.
Thank you for your time in reading,
Liam

You sound awesome and awesomely far away. What's it like living in good old Missouri?
Hey.
I'll keep this short. I'm Elizabeth, 27, US. I am looking for a decent guy (defined as kind, respectful of others, does not have anger issues, is not abusive) who likes to joke around. I don't care if you don't have a formal education/degree; I'd rather you have life experience that you could share/teach me. I prefer friendship first just so we can get to know each other. If you're interested, then PM me. I'll end it with this quotation: "Don't take life too seriously. You'll never get out of it alive."
