KraftieKortie is correct. Some people find Cobras to be a cool snake and an awesome pet, but what would happen if one got loose into the outside world? Animal control statues are there for a reason.

Lots of people say that guys who own childish things like mlp are pedofiles or atleast creepy. It's why there's so much hatred towards bronies

I'm a bit childish just like my granpa I'll never fully outgrow my inner child. Everyone loved my grsndpa, but the 60-80s were different times. He would open and play with all our toys under the geise of testing them lol

It's not about My Little Pony being childish so much. It's more to do with the fact that its target demographic is 8 year-old girls. Feel free to like what you like, but surely you can see why people think it's a little weird for grown men to hop on that bandwagon. Furthermore, it's a relatively feminine interest, and as far as I've observed, women TEND to be more attracted to masculine guys, which is logical.

But there's plenty of things for children or the opposite sex or both that are considered perfectly normal and acceptable to like, especially in this modern generation where geek culture has taken over.

Things like video games, comic books, cartoons, etc. use to all be considered very chidlish.

Seriously. It's also a clear double standard.

20 year old male who likes MLP? Weird, creepy, neckbeard with a fetish for the horses.

20 year old woman who likes Ben 10, loves spiderman (spiderman cell phone case, spiderman t-shirt), etc. Aww, cute, adorable, funny. Interesting.

I did know a girl at my school, 17, with spiderman cell phone case and dresses with doctor who and superhero t-shirts.

I'd expect a 17 year old male with MLP tee-shirts to get criticism that was non-existent with the girl.

We'd have no pets if people back when took that stance.
There's simi domesticated foxes in america. Cost about the same as a dog. Laws like the one in my state would see them all slaughtered and turned into coats. In fact lot of states will only let you breed and own foxes if you're doing just that. So it's ok to slaughter thousands of foxes but not ok to have them be loved and well treated as pets :( 0.o

What about wolfs , half wolfs, huskies and other borderline dogs, what about the mixed and borderline cats, all are legal. But seen as pets only because it's become socially accepted. If given the chance per foxes would to and people 50 years from now would be like why think it strange to have a pet fox, just as people do with dogs and cats and snakes.

Also I'll continue to blame demcrats who banned something for no other reason then they could so why not. Just because you have the power to do something doesn't mean you should. Exotic animals posed no threat or caused any problems. There were only 36 total in the state. It was expensive and required registering, taxes, fees, and local government approval. The animals are spayed or neutered and can't breed with the local population. Not to mention they had specific rules so you couldn't even have the same breed as local populations. It was really just an abuse of power. Or s case of doing something anything so it looks like they'll needed.

There's far more dangerous dog breeds then foxes who are quiet afraid of strangers and dogs, though will play with dogs once they get to know them. If I ever win the lottery I'm going to move and get a fox and five him/her all the love they desire.

Yep it's why if I ever get a gf I'll have to throw away 90% of my things and pretend to be a football loving beer drinking a**h**le. Come home drink 5 beers a nigh while watching bunch of stupid people move a ball back and forth a field of grass, while I scream and yell at the tv like somehow that's going to effect said moving ball back and forth.

No video games
No wet shaving
No mlp

From what I've seen most people simple choose to abide by gender stereotypes. It's sad. The malls around her are 98% women's clothes and makeup stores. They wouldn't make enough unless of course most women abided by the women like to clothes, shoe and makeup shop. The other stores for men are sports and sporting team clothing stores. And the outsider is GameStop. And the food court though my cities mall got rid of the food court.

I dont know maybe they'll right and I'm just better off not passing on my subpar genes.

Sad but true. Gender stereotypes is a facet of life that we all have to face when we do not conform ourselves towards them. But can can you really proclaim that there are women out there who do not view these ideals with a conformist stance, and as a consequence, are willing to look upon you in a manner that reflects your values or dignity. I would quickly say that is the case, and would even do so without hesitation. It is good that you are trying to capitalize on who you are, rather than be a shoddy emulation of what you think others think you ought to be.

Will you stop with the GENES already!

Don't you understand that the people who mentioned "the gene pool" were trolls?

Obviously, I'm not going to convince you otherwise (maybe you think I'm a Democrat  which I'm not).

Don't throw out that stuff you mentioned when you get a girlfriend.

Don't drink 5 beers a night!

I happen to like football....and I might yell at the TV---but I certainly don't drink beer. And I watch C-Span sometimes.

But I'm not in the position to be choosy. I don't have thousands of women lining up to date me.
There's s 90% likely hood any girl I end up with(already very unlikely) will find all that stuff weird and creep, see it as a big red flag and break up. Then tell everyone we know about how big of s creep I am.
For a non democrat you sure trout the party line and like to defend them.

But obviously there are certain policies that are favoured by democrats, and yet you may still support them. Can you generalize all the issues that you oppose or favour and ascribe them to a single political party. More likely than not, political policies are more or less implemented in a piecemeal fashion. For instance do you support capital punishment? Most republicans tend to favour it while many democrats do not. I support capital punishment in rare circumstances and yet I am left leaning. Nonetheless, the issue alone, as for most people isn't suffice to change their political outlook. What do you think?

Off topic, but I also support capitol punishment for all "murder 1" cases even though I consider myself a social liberal. In my case I also happen to be a fiscal conservative so I don't like my tax dollars spent to keep murderers alive for decades when that money could be put to much better use such as healthcare for the decent non-affluent citizens.

not to rain on your parade, but it has long been noted that life imprisonment from the git-go costs substantially less than the typical process leading to execution, by 3/4ths on average. there are many other ways the PTB could save money for social programs, namely by stopping corporate welfare.

Sly, don't be somebody you not, BE YOURSELF!! If you throw away stuff you love, you will regret it. Girlfriends can come & go, but your things will be with you forever. Have you try meeting a woman from the forum?

But what's a bunch of stuff if it makes you have to be alone forever.
Most the women here don't find me attractive or wouldn't date me. Ones who showed interest are really far away and ended up finding someone local.
