Yeah

I was thinking more along the lines of getting really messy

It's gotta be a good way of getting the measure of a person

I majorly wanted to be married when I was single. A major part of it was due to insecurity & legal reasons. I don't like ceremonies or romance in general though. My ideal wedding would be an elopement thing. I've been living with Cass so long it feels like we are married. I don't see any reason for us not to be married except it would screw up benefits.

Before Obamacare went into effect a bit of disabled people who were not collecting benefits chose to marry their partners so they could get on their partners health insurance since private health insurance companies could deny people for having prexisting conditions. Like if their partner had health insurance through their job & the disabled person had a job that did not offer health insurace or were unable to collect benefits & relying on family money.

A dream I had this morning.

Met this young lady (I'm often much younger in my dreams) with a pretty (but unfamiliar) face, I think on the street, but that part is murky. She had this casual accessible playfulness, perhaps like we've known each other. I guess in a way it was a quality of someone I knew in real life. There are a lot of bits I don't really remember. I think I was driving at some point, but not even sure if it's from the same dream.

I think I had complained about not sleeping well, and she did the sweetest thing, she whipped out her phone and ordered me a weighted blanket. Some time later in the dream we arrived at some apartment building, and she retrieved the blanket from a mailbox (dreams don't have to make sense, like the size of the mailbox or the fact the blanket wasn't packed).

- "I thought this was supposed to arrive at my house", I quipped.
- "Really, you're complaining?" she replied in an annoyed tone.
I kissed her on the top of her head as an expression of gratitute and appreciation, and hugged her.
- "That's more like it," she said.

We walked up some flights of stairs and ended up at what I guess is her apartment. There's a bunch I don't remember but I unded up in her bed under the blanket she bought me. There was some pillow talk that I don't really remember, then she was up. I playfully suggested that we should properly test out the blanket at my place next time. She giggled in response and bounced away to do her hair.

Then I woke up...

Then I woke up. :(

I can relate to this. I'm rarely older than 20 in my dreams.

I've always been a fan of making other people get messy.

Sometimes I really wish I could completely forget my exes. The quilt, worry, & hating myself for things I cant undo is very painful sometimes & causing me to not be as present in my current relationship.

We want to go to the drive-in but the movie choices are really lame.

I have a very fond memory involving a drive-in with my first boyfriend. We didn’t watch anymore than the first 5 or 10 minutes of the movie.

Yeah that sounds fun, but we're not getting any younger and there are much more comfortable places than a sweaty vehicle with leather seats when it's a billion and ten degrees out there.

*It's mostly Inside Out 2. :x *

Just a wee bit bothered by my Demiromanticism (romantic attraction happens for me only after having an emotional or deep connection). Y’know it does make sure i can truly trust someone before developing an attraction, so that’s pretty cool.
There is the fact that i’ve only ever had crushes on best friends.

Bahhh

Isn't it normal to only feel romance with people you know deeply?
How else would a person feel romance with a stranger or random acquaintance?

I’m honestly not sure, haha

I’m demisexual, too.

any “fast” relationship, sexual, romantic, or both, that starts in short periods of time, I don’t quite understand.

Since I probably won’t experience that, and I don’t particularly want something fast-paced
