They do exist.
  • puddingmouse
  • MONKEY
  • smudge
  • emlion
  • OneStepBeyond
  • Henbane
  • Joe90
  • LabPet (although she's originally from Alaska but lives in Glasgow)
For example. Most of those already have boyfriends/husbands though.

Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they don't exist.

I never said they never existed though, plus your eyes can't see what the members post as their gender unless you start snooping (or stalking, depending).

Good point....although I am sure there is at least a couple.

True, but one generally gets a good idea. We're talking fairly prolific posters here. There are probably more to add to that list too, I just can't think of them right now. Often men and women alike don't actually list their location but make references to it in their posts.

Perhaps, but some people like gender bending on the internet on occasion.

I don't think many would reference to their locations if they are uncomfortable with it in the first place, maybe saying a specific region would be acceptable, but that just means that's as far as they would go regarding letting others know where they are.

True, but this isn't that sort of place. And I would suspect that people who do that would get find out here.

Most won't make very strong references to where they live. They might give a town, a county or a city but this is all dependent on where one lives and if one feels it's safe to do so. In very small places where everyone knows everyone else, people might not want to run the risk.

That is technically impossible though, if they refer themselves as a specific gender and keep consistent about it ( a lack of morality perhaps), then I doubt they'd be found out, and if so, then if they are happy referring to themselves as that gender it doesn't harm anyone. (unless people want to develop a relationship with them of course).

Exactly, which is why it would be hard to find females (or males) on where they live country wise. If there is indeed many UK females on this board (and I definitely don't doubt that) then that risk is risen if there are many UK Male Members here too.

If I could (and I'm sure that those concerned would reply with a firm "Pah! In your dreams!") my list would include (and for the reasons shown):

- Hyperlexian - if only for her beautiful eyes and excellent musical stylings and taste
- ValentineWiggin - because she's physically very attractive and has beautiful red hair
- Emlion - for her skills in our shared field, and her welcoming of new members to the site

and finally ... (the last shall be first, etc.)

- Hale_Bopp - she's on the other side of the planet, she's beautiful, funny, articulate, appears communicative and I *love* the fact that she's named for a comet.

Whilst it's not something that I've said in any depth, or to any of the four ladies noted above, I'm very fond of them.

As I said above, however, I'm absolutely sure this comes under the heading of "in my dreams".

I tend to think of people as looking like their avatars. So I'm going to have to go with hyperlexian. I mean, who else am I going to pick? A leopard? A stone head? A small bird? A racing car? Anakin Skywalker?

Plus I made her laugh the other day. I'm in with a chance, yo! 8)

Sweetleaf.

Barring slight age difference, physical locale, and an international border (I think).

We are so alike, and date or not it would be cool to meet someone. Somewhere. Somehow.

Most girls like the animal thing going on dude.

In all seriousness, avatars don't interest me then the posts what the members do, and I apply this to both genders.

Oh, and I haven't seen Hale Boop in awhile. Hope she's okay.
