Lemme use this thread for its intended purpose—

Image

This is a pretty crappy selfie I took in my parents' grimy mirror while visiting.

I'm a 34-year-old male from the UK and my hobbies/interests are:

- learning Japanese
- playing games
- cute animals
- comedy
- writing funny joke stories that nobody reads

I'm very aloof and I don't have any friends whatsoever, either online or otherwise, so I'd appreciate talking to anyone who has a brain!

There's another autistic person from the UK whom I have noticed having an interest in Japanese. What attracts you to this language? I have only learned the very basics of it. So won't be an interpreter any time soon.

And IL/TP, why hijack this thread discussing miscellaneous topics? This is essentially a thread for placing ads to denote one's singleness. There are better threads for small talk than this one.

It's strange that you're calling out members for small talk when you yourself are engaging in it. Your post doesn't seem to be an ad. Also, why mention IL and I specifically? We weren't the only members who were chatting. :?

What the heck? How am I hijacking? That's pretty much the outline of my life. I'm single. What's the problem?

I was answering questions other people asked me.
I suppose we should pretend we can't make conversation.
Maybe that's more intriguing to eligible odd-bots?

Bumping this! What a nice photo! You remind me of Dr. Alex Karev on Grey's Anatomy!

Well, I'm not sure if I am eligible, but I am certainly single again!

Hooray?

Twilight is single.
Anyone sane here?

I'll be her chaperone.

^ I posted a blurb back at the beginning of August:

TwilightPrincess wrote:
I’m a single mom of 13 children. We lost their father tragically last year when he had a heart attack at his third job. I’m looking for an upstanding Christian man who can be the spiritual head of the family - leading us in daily Bible study, prayer, and hymn-singing. I’m 39 years old. Don’t worry! I have a lot of fertile years left.

A strong work ethic and sound constitution are obligatory.

Hmm, sounds like a challenge, but I've already got a son if you need to bump that 13 up to a 14.

How do you feel about working 3 jobs? Have you had a recent echocardiogram?

I hope you don’t like video games. Video games are the work of the devil, even Mario. There’s all those hallucinogenic mushrooms and people getting bigger and smaller. Peach is obviously a hussy, too.

I think Long Covid will make three jobs difficult, but we can try baby steps if you don't mind tending to the littles. Maybe three very small jobs.

I do love video games, though, and I am actually a programmer, so that might be a red flag there.

Sorry -_-

A pity.

Oh well. I might try going to one of those ultra conservative rallies.

I’m sure I’ll find someone I can talk to about Jesus, guns, and corporal punishment - my three favorite things.

Well darn, those are MY three favorite things.
I have a large tattoo on my back of Thin Blue Line Punisher Jesus wearing a MAGA hat and shooting AR-15s at cases of Bud Lite =(((

I will try to give up the video games if it means that much to you.
