Your profile sais that you are from Lebanon!! !

A lot of Lebanese men have gone from Lebanon (economy, killed in wars etc...). Women there are more competitive because of this. Even a 10% discrepancy between the sexes can provoke intense competition.

Sorry face, but your experience isn't meaningful to the rest of us.

this might be possibly the worst argument ive heard against what boo has been saying recently.

Internet dating is waste of time. BIG TIME! I just want to get out into the world and meet women in better way.

That's actually a good idea, and better than internet dating. I keep meaning to join a fun night class or something to find people with similar interests and just... TALK to people! :)

1-Expat Lebanese men often visit their country of origin and seek for lebanese grooms, so they're not out of the competition, in fact they have the upper hand over the local men. (have more stability, life in a better country...etc).

2- Most wars in Lebanon were civil wars, and not wars between 2 armies, hence women and children were the first and easiest targets and were often massacred more that men.

3-The number of Lebanese girls on okcupid are VERY few, just go and do a quick search there and compare their numbers to Israeli girls for example, israeli girls there are like 20x more numerous. Then tell me, how this would make my task easier on okcupid?

Just recently deleted my account as to be honest, it's full of people who to me are intensely rude, when you send someone a message it's at least respectable to reply and that I don't understand... I havn't ever really found anyone who's been the type of person I'm looking for either so I don't really rate it, maybe for NT's it works.

sex ratio.
Lebanon
15-64 years: 0.92 male(s)/female
Belgium
1.02

i suspect, that even with the expats, it still doesn't balance out.

The diaspora is estimated to range from 12 million people[3] to more than [2] 15[4] million people - far more than the internal population of Lebanon itself (which is estimated at 4 million).[2][4]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebanese_diaspora

and there are about 290K in KSA and gulf states, and i can estimate about 90% of them are males (those in the gulf in particular often marry women of their country http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/02/world ... 69480.html ). of course there are other recent expats in other countries too who would do the same.

When you'll be there, you'll still be chasing Lebanese girls?
Even in Lebanon, you only go after the girls of your community, or exclude foreigners?

Worry not, I am pursuing foreigners (those who live here or frequently travel often to here...) even here XD

It's still too early to assume anything regarding my career future tho.

That's a ratio, not a percentage. It means that a population of 10,000 females could count on 9,200 males in Lebanon.
Where I live, not that far north of Belgium, it's 1.02. That means 10,000 females could count on 10,200 males in the Netherlands.

There's your difference - assuming everyone is heterosexual, women in Lebanon and men in the Netherlands and Belgium would have to compete harder.
If these were permanent couples, 800 women in Lebanon and 200 men in the Netherlands and Belgium would never have a partner.

Well... Great news I think! :D. So I had mentioned a while ago this girl had messaged me on Okcupid who lived about 45 minutes away from me. And we've been talking a lot actually :D. We shockingly are similar in very many way, we have the same taste in movies, music, and video games. We both have somewhat similar pasts, and we get a long really well. We also are both working on getting our licenses and we both keep saying that when we get them we are going to hang out and s**t and go to movies and such. And she's also started saying things I do are cute. I don't know if I'm overrthinking things but I'm really hoping for once that I'm not :) as this girl is really awesome.

I'm really confused. First let me start this off by saying that I'm not racist, nor do I hate Christians. I just am not personally sexually attracted to african americans and I've answered the question "Would you strongly prefer to go out with somebody of your own race" yes. I also have answered a question that I'm not interested in going out with Christians as well, not because I hate Christians but because it would just cause drama with me being an atheist. So I've noticed that about once a day a girl who is african american and has "Christian- And Very Serious About It" on her profile visits my profile. She hasn't messaged me or anything and so I'm just kind of confused... Shouldn't she know by reading my questions that I'm not interested?
