I wouldn't wanna date a girl with As either. The girls I like tend to be NT and aspies don't really come across as the kinda people I'd want to be with tbh

Being AS, I see alot of my own personality traits in them -- from aesthetics to the way they solve verbal problems.

I understand that none of these things would reconcile incompatible living situations, but I think they're a good start.

Haha, nice way to diffuse a situation.
I will give you some thumbs up as soon as I figure out how...

No two aspies are the same so this thread is pretty pointless.

Unfortunately, this was intended to be a gross generalization discussion :( I just wanted some quick facts.
I appreciate everyones input. And as always, I don't take anything literal, I understand how to read between the lines.

Well... you never know. It's a diverse world with a lot of diverse Aspies...

Anyways, I got the answer that I was looking for. So we can stop posting on the subject.
Based on everything that you guys have posted, Aspie girls are essentially similar to Anime girls without a sense of humor.

All in all, I don't think that it would ever work out between me and an Aspie girl because I have a big sense of humor, I can make people laugh until their lives are in danger from choking. But it doesn't matter anymore, there are no Aspie girls where I live. If there are, then I don't know how to lure them out of their homes... ;(

Thanks guys

are you trolling?

Don't have a sense of humour? What a dumb thing to say.

Tigger is a fun guy to read. I am sure you will find your entomologist one of these days.

I wonder about aspie women. Most seem to be smarter than me which could be a turn on, unless she felt it necessary to be constantly correcting me. The lack of spontaneity could get boring real fast, but at least you might be able to depend upon what they say. You might be able to have a thoughtful conversation without having everything open to multiple subtle interpretations based on voice tone and body language. You wouldn't have to worry as much about doing something weird or breaking some social convention. They probably look good naked based on one of my prior threads. Probably are a little naive keeping you from being judged against every guy that she has known previously.

Downside, I don't see how you would meet in the first place. It would be like two ships passing in the fog.

When I was seeing a therapist, he repeatedly used this exact expression to describe the same situation, RE: me and all the people I wasn't meeting. :chin:

Interesting.
Isn't there a ribbon color or bracelet for support of Asperger Syndrome ...research?

Maybe we can start a trend or something. That way you guys can find people who are sympathetic to Aspies or ones themselves.

I don't like the idea of wearing something so people can pick me out in a crowd

I think someone tried that before...didn't go down well

I don't think being an aspie would define any specific dating qualities... :P
