I'll going to be alone most likely for the rest of myself. I won't have any friends, I won't date, get married, have children. I won't be able to visit different cities/states/countries. I will miss out on everything. I am a poor pathetic bum that has a really bleak future.

I'm tearing up now. I don't really think meds are going to get me to stop thinking about this stuff.

I'm in the same horrifying situation as you.

If my father did not support me with his high income then I would already have nothing. That is because I am completely dependent on my father for income but I will never be able to have any money of my own because my physical situation has left me so that it is impossible for me to work.

So I'm too sick and weak to work, I will never be able to drive a car, I will never be able to have the girl of my dreams. I will never have a girlfriend or a family or children, just like you.

In other words, my life completely sucks and maybe even more so than yours and I'm completely dependent on my father for a living.

I'm truly sorry for you man. I hope somehow and someway, your life gets better. I hate to see good people suffer.

You like to see "bad people" suffer though? Hehe, funny implications.

I wouldn't mind seeing certain people get what's coming to them, but i don't get kicks out of seeing people suffer. I didn't mean it like that.

MR20, if you're convinced you're ugly, why did you get a better photo taken to begin with, if you weren't expecting it to make any difference?

Well a few people in other threads said that the old photos weren't very good. ( they aren't I shot them on a webcam) I figure I'd take better photos to show better detail of my face.

Apparently the new ones didn't come out that well either.

You look like a lot of other black guys I know, which is basically normal.

If you're not happy with the way you look, focus more on grooming, working out, and maybe a martial art or something. Try and boost your physical confidence if it is getting you down, then try and focus on your mental after, or you can do it the other way around. At 25, you still have a lot of time.

The biggest problem is how your present yourself! These are bad photos of photo of you!

Here's some tips:
-You need to feel confident about yourself when making photos. If you tell yourself "I'm good looking", you will look better!
-Make sure to do a lot of photos and at a lot of different angles. Then be super selective about choosing the photos that most advantage you.

I can't tell myself "I'm good looking" because I would be lying to myself. I don't believe I'm good to look at in the slightest. It would also contradict what hundreds of people throughout my life have told me about my appearance.

A tip: next time, close your mouth and focus on the lens of the camera.

Then, just get over it. Physical appearance is not everything. You will not magically become like Denzel Washington because of your whining about your looks. As I keep telling you, go get a job: you will learn to be independent and interact with people. And, unless your dream job is modeling, your appearance should not be a problem. As long as you take care of your hygiene and get a haircut better suited for your round face.

MR20, you really need to stop setting yourself to a high standard and start making realistic goals for yourself. You always complain about not being able to drive or that you will never be able to live independently and you compare yourself to people who are ahead of you in term of development and maturity.

Set short term realistic goals for yourself, you already have good grammar, an understanding of presentation and money management. You need to focus on the simple things like grooming, being organized and cooking basic meals, after you have done that, you can focus on things like social skills, driving and home management. Stop trying to run before you can walk.

You'd really benefit from an Independent living skills course, you need to inquire and find out if there is one in your area.

They used to teach that stuff in special ed; living skills, etc. Stuff for people that are slow, half-retarded, and are too stupid to figure out this stuff on their own. It just reconfirms everything I've said about myself.

I still don't think I'd do well under the pressure of an everyday job, bills, going out in public and meeting people every day. I would be overwhelmed completely and I don't think I can function/work well around crowds of people. I would have a bunch of anxiety attacks and I would get paranoid. I would always think someone be laughing or staring at me.

Once again, I don't think it's a high standard that I compare myself to normal, regular people. Even if I am inferior and pathetic compared to them.

Before I got my first job, I was like you. I kept inventing excuses to avoid looking for jobs during 2 years. Then my mother saw an ad for a job and almost literally dragged me there.

I got the job the following day (as an office boy: they were not picky because it is a job meant for young men without previous experience). The work consisted of delivering/receiving files, paying/collecting taxes and related tasks around the city (sometimes, I would go to other towns). By the end of the first day, after traveling around the city all day and doing 90% of what I was supposed to do, I was terrified. I thought I surely had done everything wrong (I used to have this feeling a lot back then: no matter what I did, I always thought it would turn out badly).

The following day, my boss said I did everything as it should be. I felt immensely relieved and, eventually, I learned to work under pressure, be independent and not as much of an outcast as I used to be.

MR20, you are not ugly but you do look like crap in the photos that you have posted.

Luckily you can do something about that if you want to.

Number one, you are dressed scruffy. A decent suit can be purchased from a charity shop for a small amount of money. If you are flat broke and don't know anyone willing to buy you a suit for christmas you could explain your financial hardship to a few charity shops or churches etc and a kind soul will help you.

Number two, your hair is a mess. Your local hairdressing college will probably cut your hair for free as they need victims for their students to practice on.

Number three, (the smallest problem for your appearance) you are a bit overweight shedding a few pounds of fat and getting some muscle will help your self image loads You don't have to join a gym or spend any money you can do this for free by downloading a work out routine. The US marines publish a good for free on the internet that will cost you no money to do.

Number four, this is probably the most important - Your photos really, really suck. The nearest college that offers photography courses will be delighted to have a patient male volunteer happy to spend half a day posing for their classes to practice lighting techniques on. If not a few of the students would be happy to have someone to practice on after hours.

Number five, you have rubbish posture and are slouching in your photos.

You can do something about all of this things and you don't have to spend any money to accomplish them. If you make it your new year's resolution to try to do something about each one of these things in the first three months of next year you will have some great photos for the summer.

PS You are not ret*d, your spelling is far too good for that to be possible.

PPS Please don't take anything I've said as an insult, I'm also an over weight, scruffbag with messy hair and poor posture but I do know how to take good photos of people. ;)

Excellent advice, I think a suit, hair style and facial hair style like this would suit MR20, sometimes looking more presentable can make you feel more confident and better in yourself.

Can do. But first, I'd have to change my name to Ron Mexico. Then I need to find a certain amount of canines for this up-and-coming fighting ring I've just started underground.
