Thank you for taking my links into account as well. This is part of the one-sidedness I was talking about in her approach.

Not at all, it's just how it works. If you run around being confrontational about it, that's what you're going to get back usually, it just can't work any other way. If you want support, that's not how it's done. It doesn't even leave any room for it. It's not even possible.

You do realize that this is a forum for people with social issues right? It's better to disarm the confrontation by not being confrontational yourself.

Do what I say, not what I do, eh? You have higher standards for me than you do for yourself, it seems. Try applying an equal standard. I'm hardly perfect. Perhaps I have my own reasons to be confrontational in return. Now what?

It's a common theme in WrongPlanet.

The difference is that you complain about people being confrontational, I generally don't. I escalate because I get off on confrontation. I was merely pointing out that if you want to perhaps reduce the number of incidents with men who are anti-woman, because they have woman issues. Which is what you were complaining about, creating yet another target for them to attack and confirming many of their preconceptions about women through your behavior here is not a good idea.

^ see TM, you and I are making fools of ourselves. I can't help it and neither can you ... but we'll make good aversion therapy for each other, through mutual embarrassment. There's your support.

And you think we're different in that respect?

You really think I could be this argumentative simply out of principle? Who's actually escalating here? You're the one who was demanding empathy and support and asking me to defuse things earlier. I've asked you to spare third parties - I haven't complained for my own sake

I wasn't demanding anything, merely pointing out that if you want to spare yourself and/or others, it helps not to meet confrontation with confrontation. I wasn't asking for myself, just pointing out that if you attack someone who is already pissed off you end up validating their aggression. It's a bit like having a Moroccan threaten to beat up HDM or a Muslim cleric tell Tequila to stop nagging about that freedom of speech thing.

Plus, everyone knows, if you really want confrontation, pick a fight with Hyper, Valentine or Ruyvyn.

again_with_this, i was addressing the same old group of members that choose to criticise me on a personal level a opposed to contribute anything useful to the discussion. for your part, i addressed the links you provided, and you were not able to summon up anything that refuted the information i provided. you speculate but cannot back up your speculations with any facts. not sure what else you want to hear

Not really, you were at it before I was posting regularly. There was no difference. Now we're just annoying everyone, and you're too busy with me to be making women out to be monsters. This suits me.

I don't see how. Maybe if I was a member of the group you like to pick on that would make sense, but I'm not.

I have, with all three, but there was no chemistry.

The thing is, I thought you were a chick, not sure why. Now that I know you aren't, the spark is gone and I've wasted so much time on you that I could have spent making women out to be the devil incarnate.

Much, much nicer than the mudslinging going on. Stick around, eh? ;)

do you mean like the mud you slung at me (both in this thread and previously)? i don't recall slinging any mud at you, so that must be what you are talking about.

Actually, I just looked through the thread and you didn't say anything about the links he provided. As I've also stated, statistics from the UK in a discussion with Americans (I assume Max is American and again_with_this is from Jersey, on an American forum, populated mostly by Americans hold less weight than links about Americans. So his sources > yours.

Do you people want to be patronized and pretend everything is sunshine and rainbows all the time? Maybe I'll come and visit you in Neurotypical Land sometime, when I get tired of living in the real world.

Dude, all I said was I love this forum..no sarcasm...because I do love this forum. The guy that said, "Yay! Something positive has been said in this thread!" is not an NT so anytime you want to come to NT land you are welcome. It's just as much of a real wold as Aspie land! :D

this thread was created as so much off-topic stuff ensued from another thread, so it was better off on its own. i apologise for the random misordering of the posts - not sure how that happened.
