I dont know about that.

I was at the "in" stores not too long ago helping a friend out and gym shirts(very slim fit, marking abs/whatever) seemed to be the latest fashion.
Hopefully it was just because we went on sale and they had too many because nobody buys them.

If you use this calculator, it will tell you that 1.5 to 2 grams of protein is sufficient and it has been proven in studies that eating two hours a day is recommended, especially if you are a hard gainer or ectomorph which this guy is.

Sure, younger women might like the Justin Bieber look but older women prefer a built guy.

Ill rephrase that for others to read easier. He says you need 1.5-2 grams of protein per pound you weigh. What it doesnt talk about is that the body uses a lot more than just protein, and focusing on just protein or any of the other things alone will result in a terrible diet and performance. Almost more important are carbs, and fats. Especially when you're burning a shedload of calories working out. Theres a reason most athletes eat pasta. It contains a lot of complex carbs and can be mixed with things that have other ingredients. Also, on the eating every two hours thing, that is recomended for a general well being, not for bodybuilding. Its a way to get food processed more slowly throughout the day, not a way to eat more. Hunger is not like the gas gauge on a car. And saying someone is an ectomorph when he doesnt work out to show what bodytype he has comes off as a bad guess.

From the picture i saw this guy is young so...
but lets for the sake of your point say we are talking older women. They want a guy that is "cut", like this here.
Image
At the filming of that movie he was just 155lbs for someone 6ft tall. Why did women of all ages go nuts for him? He looks like he has muscle.

compare that to arnie who was around 230lbs in competitions (260 normally) and 6'2"
Image
the people who admired him were men, they liked how big and strong he looked. Women still prefered brad pitt.

There are calculators hence why I mentioned mixing a diet with foods that are rich in carbohydrates and protein.

You shouldn't work out for women, you should work out for personal goals. Would you rather look like Brad Pitt and get a hot girl that doesn't know a lot about bodybuilding or would you rather look like a bodybuilder and get a woman that is into bodybuilding?

Older women like guys that are built like this.

No, facial attractiveness still important on those programmes

They might all be idiots but still relatively attractive

eg Kirk is nice looking but he's also very stupid so I'm not overly interested
(plus he's a celebrity so hardly going to be interestd in me anyway lol)

I'm an older woman and I don't have any specifics as regards how a man should look chest/muscle-wise

I don't find him particualarly attractive

since nessa ruined my slow rise to the point ill just say it, older (and younger) women like this
Image

not the part you posted. Thats besides the point to most. And thats before you again compare him to pitt who at lower weight and lower ammount of muscle has the same look
Image

Heres a bit of info that explains why

Quote:
To start, Brad’s character for Troy, Achilles, was well built but not overly muscular. He is not built like a bodybuilder. The key here is proportion. Many amateur bodybuilders and weightlifters have big arms and chests and small shoulders and backs. The problem exists because everyone feels the need to be a big shot on the bench press or impress the ladies with bicep curls. Look at some stills from Troy; Brad has very developed shoulders and an excellent back. His chest is built, but is in proportion. Also, you can notice that his upper chest is especially built, rather than the lower part that bench pressing emphasizes. Also, his legs are not overly muscular at all. In addition to his muscular development, Brad has very low body fat. Without low body fat, all his added muscle would look make him look bulky and slow.

If you would rather look like a Hollywood Pretty boy, that's your choice. To the average person, Brad Pitt looks reasonably healthy, however it's not to assume that everyone works out for women.

To bodybuilding standards, 180lbs or 165lbs in which he weights in both images, they are considered to be light. Sure, not everyone wants to be 300lbs or even 250lbs, most guys are happy to get to 220.

I don't consider him to have a remarkably low body fat as there are little veins showing on his physique, there are some indentions. If anything, you should aim to have some development like this if you are aiming for a leaner physique.

Image

If you are a guy like this
Image
Getting a Brad Pitt physique would be an impressive thing so I can understand why you think that is an admirable goal but by bodybuilding standards, Brad Pitt isn't the best goal. For the typical lean guy like yourself, getting a physique like Brad Pitt out of Troy is a good goal fitness wise but you shouldn't set yourself long term limits.

I agree with Nessa. Muscles don't mean anything to me. Faces...yes.

I actually prefer skinny men. Not Ethiopian skinny, but you get the drift.

Apparently peoples' genes sense what would be a good match in terms of making a baby together ie they are attracted to traits in the other person that balance out their own 'deficiencies'.

I think there's definitely truth in this as I can often be attracted to pretty boys and am not overtly pretty myself and some are attracted to me, so together we would make a more evened out baby (if we decided to have one that is; I've never wanted children though).
I seem to have a more male attitude to things than a lot of the men I've got on well with too ie they like housework but I don't or they are more interested in skin care than me.

If you look at it from this point of view it's far less about personal choice and all about what the genes want and about each person balancing their mix of masculine and feminine with another person's as everyone is a mix of both in my opinion.

Attraction is relative. One person's 10/10 is another person's 1/10.

Just be the person you are and those who matter won't mind.

You don't really look bad dude, kind of like a typical aspie to be honest (I'm straight). I don't really think looks are nearly as important as intellect. I am pretty skinny and that sort of thing too and I have long hair like in the picture:http://www.wrongplanet.net/postp5080958.html&highlight=#5080958 page 551.
