Don't misconstrue my words- I have no problems with women being picky about height. That doesn't mean that it doesn't affect my life in certain ways though.

And yes being short sometimes sucks but you might as well get used to it.

But you don't get it......... All women are like that and he knows because he knows how women think better than women do because he's "done research."

Seriously, Lost.......
I know you really want to be seen as a Alpha male but you conduct yourself like a wannabe-Beta at best.

Boo is shorter than you and way more of an Alpha then you are. You should learn from him about not taking everything seriously and getting too hung up on foolish issues of pride.

I never said that I had the same issues as the OP in the other thread (there you go putting words in my mouth) all I said was that I can relate on a certain level to being discriminated against by the opposite sex because of my height.

and yet less than a page later...........

That's like if cafeluit posted that society finds men under 6 feet less appealing/alpha/dominant.

( there have been multiple studies that report these findings)

And I say that's BS, I expected better of you, your racist towards shorter men

You have know idea what racism is do you?

No me and boo are the same height. In fact, I might be shorter than him. He's 5 ft 3, and i'm 5 ft 2 so we're around the same height.

i'm not sounding like an alpha male, i'm just saying don't worry about your height. (which ironically i'm doing right now and in my recent posts)

I suppose if you met eberyone in sitting down mode, height wouldn't really be an issue.

Sorry. Was addressing "Lost" with that last part. Not you..........

That being said, saying and aknowledging that you "don't worry about your height" is the kind of philosophy that true alpha males ascribe to. They are willing and capable of rolling with the punches and are secure enough in themselves that they don't feel the constant need to be right about everything. They Alphas because they are likable. You should be proud sir and I suggest embracing this outlook.

Wannabe-Alphas (the worst type of Beta) on the other hand are super insecure and obsessed with pride. Stubborn to the point of never admitting that they've done anything wrong. Take any critiscism as a personal attack, have a huge victim complex and are generally unlikable. They're the type who will take "being slightly short" and treat it like the worst thing in the world and overcompensate as a result.

Your such a Great friend. Thanks for the diagnosis.

Not only have I done the research but I've observed my research at work in the real world.

You never see me pushing my views on anybody do you? I never say you must believe this or that.

Your ability to judge me on hale bopps classifications of alpha & beta is hilarious thanks for the laugh.

You are either uneducated or trying to misconstrue what I'm saying.

I'm not worrying about my height.

There is a difference between worrying and being educated about something.

I'm simply educated about my height/ what women prefer and since I've been educated I've been able to target women who would more likely be attracted to me and have had much better results.

There are plenty of women who like Beta-males so there's nothing wrong with that.

That's more like it! I was expecting a different reaction but you surpised me. There may be hope for you yet, sir............

For your next lesson I need you to read and interpret these song lyrics. While you are doing that, think about how the lessons of the song can be applied to your situation and how you can use it to be a more understanding and less confrontational poster:

"Now, the world don't move to the beat of just one drum,
What might be right for you, may not be right for some.
A man is born, he's a man of means.
Then along come two, they got nothing but their jeans.
But they got, Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Everybody's got a special kind of story
Everybody finds a way to shine,
It don't matter that you got not alot
So what,
They'll have theirs, and you'll have yours, and I'll have mine.
And together we'll be fine....
Because it takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Yes it does.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world."

I need to have my naivety removed. Is there a procedure for that? 8O

Honestly I was just on a rant.
I wasn't calling for someone to shoulder the blame. We all make off topic posts from time to time. I just found the whole thing to be a bit ludicrous. Once the snowball got rolling, people just couldn't leave it alone. It's a little irritating to wade through pages of bickering to find anything relevant to the post. But, that's just my opinion.

Not that I am condoning the said farcical thread, but the OP probably has enough intelligence to find the good posts on the thread. Also, she will probably feel better about herself, realising that there are people infinitely more screwed up than her. High five, everyone, great job!

This however, gave me a good laugh

I found it utterly brilliant that in a thread about petty bickering, the only thing going on in it is petty bickering

My ears bleed from you even saying beta and women who like in the same sentence.
