That surprises me. From all the American TV I've seen (and I've seen a lot), American women want musclebound hunks as much as British women do. I always thought that's where we copied it from

So often (last time: yesterday) I see female friends/colleagues checking and showing each other some hunk on their smartphone (often pics on fb).

If you think this is a Brit thing only, you'll be disappointed, it's universal.

Seems like all the hot male actors and models in U.S. media these days are very skinny, very young, androgynous looking types. The young women seem to love it.

If you feel that way, you can always start weight training.

No, the two Twilight guys are definitely hulks by teen standards (even if the actors are actual adults), muscles, toned, six packs...etc

and the male models are very skinny? Then what do you consider the normally skinny? Skeleton?

Have you ever seen Johny Depp? He's pretty thin. Tom Hiddleston(Loki from the Thor movies) is pretty skinny and he has more fangirls than Chris Hemsworth(Thor from the Thor movies). It actually gets irritating for someone who does stay in shape. Although Robert Downy Jr. is pretty popular with young females and although he isn't the most buff he certainly isn't a twig.

Actually looking at that picture, Downey is in great shape.

Yeah, I've been meaning to for a while, but I'm a hardgainer so lack of results tends to put me off a bit. Plus I can never understand how someone on a budget can bulk up considering the huge amounts of food you need to eat

Skinny =/= "in shape" or muscular.

I was answering Eureka, teen fangirls of Twilight I are now young women. Depp is no longer young; plus I not arguing this is the only criteria that makes a guy attractive, the looks, the face,
the charm...etc all are important.

Loki has more fans than Thor?
Well, not surprising, real criminals had legions of fangirls too. Hiddleston certainly aced in that role tho tbh. This character has what made James bond madse him popular among women (and men), he's dark, mysterious, has the "dark triad"; and sometimes a good guy!

It's strange, the whole attraction to dark and mysterious characters in films. I'm dark and mysterious myself, plus I'm apparently pretty good looking and carry myself with confidence but I still get bugger all female attention. Unless I'm just oblivious to it, who knows?

Mysterious in a shy way perhaps, you never sounded Dark triad to me.

Here:

That's why Loki has fangirls.

Do women really like Loki? He looks kind of... sick to me

Only his fangirls like him, we are simply analysing subsets of women.

Ah right. Just realised that despite the title of this thread asking for female opinion, only two women have actually contributed. Man...

That was my point when I mentioned Downey, as in he's an exception to "fangirls".

Rice, chicken, potatoes, milk and eggs. Stick to those foods and throw in green vegetables and fruit. Here's a decent article for you.

It's just a general article to give you an idea. It mentions creatine, which I would stay away from. It's a waste of money and can dehydrate and bloat you.
