Just browsing this forum. Don't post on it as I'm married... Anyway, here's me on my wedding day July 2002. In my mother-in-law's back yard.

You are gorgeous! How wonderful! And that's the perfect color for you!

I love that color.

Very nice alternative.

I'd wear a dress similar to the one in MCR's Helena.

i've thought about this alot(as i have read through this thread), and decided that a nude wedding is the thing for me.

it's alot cheaper that way. no dry-cleaning for anyone.

A Betazoid wedding, eh?

I'd have a Betazoid wedding if my fiancé would have it.

I would design and sew my dress of course...orange silk "A" line dress cut on the bias with a draping tank bodice...dangerously low in the back...red silk wedge espadrilles with orange silk ribbon ties...a bodacious afro...and brown red lipstick. This is all fodder for the fire since marriage between two people of the same gender is illegal in my state.

I always fantasized about wearing a coat similar to the ones Rod Roddy (may he rest in peace) wore on the Price is Right.

I always thought it would be cool to sew my own gown....but also because many of the modern gowns are far too revealing for my tastes. I would never even consider wearing anything strapless, for example...and now close to 95% of bridal gowns you'll find in shops are...strapless.

Well it's just the way you worded it "no dry-cleaning for anyone."

I am the weird sort that is completely uncomfortable being nude or even just semi-nude, even when I am just by myself. Extreme modesty.

I love it! It's still a little modern, but damn that's nice.

We're young gals, and thus we will be drawn to dresses by modern designers :P
