Deary me, some of the stuff I've just read... There's nothing wrong with being a virgin at 27. I know a man who was until he was 35. Do I think it's odd? No, I think it's nice and refreshing that someone waited for the right person. People like that don't seem to come around very often so I think it's actually an attractive thing. I wouldn't even worry about it, it will happen when it happens. If it doesn't, that's not a bad thing either.

I really hate being told what is or is not a good or bad thing. To me, it is a very bad thing indeed. I wish I could trade my virginity and my inability to get sex with one of those people who got rid of theirs like most do, and have regular sex, but admire virginity in others. Well, you'd be so welcome to be the ones preserving your oh so admirable virginity while I have sex.

I think the OP asked if it was seen as odd to still be a virgin at 27, to which I said 'no'. I'm not saying what's good or what's bad. Saying something isn't a bad thing, means it's okay. It is okay to be a virgin at 27, not an odd thing. I have no idea what you're on about.

Virgins against their will? Barf. As if anybody's entitled to sex.

None said that they are entitled to it, frankly you are reading things that don't exist.

Care to explain how a person can be a virgin against their will if they do not feel entitled to sex? Because, try as I might, I can't seem to.

For Dummies:
ie. A nun/bishop who chooses to never try to have sex with anyone in life = wants to stay virgin voluntary

ie. a guy or girl who desires to have sex (they have the will to have it), yet due to their unattractiveness/disabilities/circumstances are always failing to seduce someone to have sex with her/him = virgin involuntarily /against their will.

Kaykatee, Peacesells is right, you read things that don't exist, you are sexist, man-hater, and you project your sexism on men.

Simple: I would like to have sex at some point; ideally, i'd have had it already, but i didn't yet. therefore, i am a virgin against my will.

Do i feel entitled to sex? no, i do not.
I would like to have it, but i do not feel like anyone owes it to give it to me. there is a big difference between having a desire and feeling entitled

Am 26 yo virgin. I go out with work colleagues and sex seems to be all they talk about sometimes. Very frustrating as it seems like the only time I have people to hang out with I blatantly don't fit in with them anyway. I wish I was born normal sometimes.

People you don't know very well, and spend time with only in a professional context, talk to you about their sex lives on a regular basis?!?

Weird. Inappropriate. Gross, to boot.
