So move somewhere where it is frowned upon if you can't just deal with it. Or tell people, "Please stop that, it makes me uncomfortable." My point was, if you don't like it, either do something about it or find a way to deal with it.
I'm really sensitive to smells. When I smell perfumes, it is incredibly unpleasant. People pass by my cubicle at work all the time, and most of them wear perfume. I don't like it, but I deal with it.
Again with the "deal with it" response. Why should it be upon others? There's an available compromise, but no, some people don't give a damn. That's the issue. "I want this so you can deal with it, so stop complaining or
you move."
You ever tried asking someone to stop with the PDA? They'll either look at you like you are crazy or proceed to step it up a notch just to irritate you. Real successful. So it is back to expecting others to get out of the way since someone is somehow more important than someone else. Public space is public, if someone's actions are considered offensive or off-putting, they can continue in private and everyone wins. Or they can act like they are more important as a person and expect everyone else to get the hell out of their planet.
If you don't like reading about people complaining about this, go read another thread.
