You're right - and I apologise if this is perceived in anyway as a racial stereotype -, but I've seen a lot of black men that can rock the shaved head look (and generally have great cranial structure)

Has anyone decided to go clean shaved head - after being in a relationship?

I have.
My wife is/was OK with it.

The old Dick Van Dyke show was ful of bald jokes targeted at Mel.

They still work - modernized for me.

As a ventriloquist I have explored voicing non puppets.
My stomach, heart , brain. Perhaps my hair in the sink is next???? 8O 8O

Shaved head on men reminds me of my dad, which is an immediate turn off.

Some women look good with shaved heads though imo.

What of men or women with one side shaved the other long.

Some see it as new look ala hunger games movie.

What's old is "new" again.

That can look good too, on the right person. I've seen some people with that look that it didn't work for though.

Yeah, my dad started getting a receding hairline in his late teens. He's still not bald but he shaves it all off and grows facial hair.

I don't think I'd be as bothered by someone who was bald due to shaving who didn't have facial hair. The combo of bald + facial hair (something I see a lot of in white men ranging from early 20s to 50s) immediately reminds me of my dad. In fact when we're in public together and get separated I see so many men who have the same facial hair (color and style), bald head, sun glasses, and manner of dressing I often mistake other men for my dad :lol:.

Working through parental issues is one factor of successful relationship with my wife.
A close second or perhaps first was the sibling thing.
I think those were more important than hair or lack of hair or, or,or the past ever changing hair color.
Above is my experience.
I'm glad for this place to share.

It may seem weird but because I have such a negative relationship with my father I prefer to avoid men that look or act like him. He's been emotionally abusive my entire life so it's really a sore point for me. He's like the epitome of what I avoid in men in every sense. Cruel (especially verbally, but masks it as humor - it's not), thinks money and gifts are a replacement for genuine emotion, sexually abusive (towards my mother), insanely pessimistic, and superiority complex.

But yeah, seeing someone who physically reminded me of him would make me incredibly uncomfortable.

It is all about how you feel about yourself and in turn carry yourself. There is no answer and certainly no certain people look better. Many of the comments have sounded to be frank a little on the racist side if not intended as such.
Many with an African heritage for example shave their heads due to a difficulty in maintaining their hair.
Many men with baldness also shave their heads as a way of maintaining their choice of hairstyle. Some also just like it!
I went bald at 21 which was a shock, after a few days though I decided to shave my head and own it. Now it is part of the way I see myself and am super comfortable. End of the day do it for yourself not because of how others perceive you.
