In other words, just act natural. it works.

Many of us, when acting naturally, scare the living
pcheeps out of most mortals.

EH? I guess I'm one of the few normal ones then Cal. Because when I'm natural, I come off as suave and debonair and almost British.

Odd. As the DSM-IV definition of AS more or less
requires that it hinder one socially, no?

yes.........used to hinder one socially.

the DSM-IV describes how EVERYONE ELSE perceives the AS person....

it speaks nothing of their own self delusional persepectives.... maybe simply cause it cant do justice..........

edit: not trying to say anyone's delusional... but i've definetly had my moments where i thought i was uber cool and apparently was not perceived as such by others.

Yeah. When I was your age, I was
much better off socially than any other
time.

Kinda makes the definition silly though,
as if one could slide in and out of AS.

my opportunities are disappearing.... and i cant help but F***in fawn over the unattainable.

Damned software doesn't warn about
concurrent posts. I was responding to
gamester, not you.

Your delusional point is possible though.
He has been accused of that, in relation
to other matters. My delusions tend more
towards being able to manipulate others,
rather than actually being popular. BUT,
one doesn't give their feelings of this type
up.

Hang in there, kid.

Now, given that the ONE date
that I've been on, I tried that,
I'd have to say it's not too hot.

But, I'd avoid the whole dating thing,
and just move to love, as soon as possible.

to avoid or not to avoid that is the question. Avoidance of love, avoidance of life, they are but the same thing, if you stop to smell a rose and it is a tulips fragance, doth it go by another name but Rose? to think that the merits of life round up on only one thing, that is love, life and the universe. you choose and you lose, but in the end, what can we all say, except that we do what we believe to be on the right, the end and the narrow, that which is our destiny to go with how we go?

I'm assuming that he's high.
This is a low, as far as making
sense.

Plus, if you stop to smell a Rose,
you had better eat it.

you would be being cryptic if your logic was correct.

shakespeare: a rose by any other name is still a rose....

but if you say something smells like a tulip..... it's not going to be (or smell like ) a rose no matter what you call it.......
