Ok, I agree on hygiene.

The minority would be clinically blinds and asexuals.

Would you date the guys I posted their pics back there?

If their personalities matched really well with mine then I don't see why not. Not exactly my ideas about good looking guys, but what I'm looking for in a partner has more to do with how he can please my mind and heart instead of my body and eyes. Not that I'm saying appearance doesn't matter to me at all, but it is rather irrelevant if someone, who was a perfect match to my personality, appeared.

Wouldn’t you try to fix anything in ther face? the teeth perhaps?

Definitely, the other guy clearly has bad teeth after all. The thing is that having bad teeth is unhealthy and if he refuses to do his best to fix them then that means he doesn't really care about his health and someone who doesn't care about their own health doesn't have the kind of personality that matches with mine. Then again, someone who cares about their health so little that they let their teeth get in to that condition probably wouldn't have a matching personality, either. Unless he just couldn't afford medical attention and had some kind of condition that would have reguired more attention to his teeth than a normal person would have, which has led them to get to that condition.

So you did thought of improving their looks.

Good, you are at least a bit more honest.

she said it wasn't about appearance or improving their looks, try actually reading her post before attempting to use it to back up your own cynical world view.

Also I don’t know why you call it a cynical world view.
It is the realistic view - the human view. Humans cared for beauty and appearance since the dawn of our species and civilization.

The truth is: very few people are as ugly as those pictures.

The first guy seems like a long-term alcoholic/drug addict, though of course I don’t know for sure.

The second guy seems fictional.

ultimately people just need to decide what kind of people they want to date, if they want to date someone who would judge them on their appearance by all means get surgery and conform to someone else's fantasy ideal, because none of us are going to grow old and loose our perceived looks so entering a relationship with someone on that basis can never go wrong.

the whole point of my post was to advise people to stop worrying about what shallow, uncaring individuals have to say and to learn that they have more to offer in a relationship than any shallow, uncaring individual could, there are plenty of kind caring and considerate people looking for someone the same, stop worrying about shallow issues unless that's all you want from a relationship.

this post is directed at everyone except boo, because it's not all about you boo

I'm far from being a saint as many people of my past would tell you, I just don't judge people on physical appearances, and I know many people who are the same, as I said before it's about what you want your relationship to be based on, if you don't want a relationship based on shallow superficial reasons you shouldn't worry about shallow and superficial things.

When I date someone I want to get to know them, and that's difficult when they're feeling self-conscious and worthless because they've taken negative comments from shallow and ugly-minded people to heart, allot of us really are just looking for someone kind, caring and considerate to fall in love with, but it's difficult to find that because the asshats of the world have told them they should hide their faces.

Telling him to fix his nose to like how it was before is not the same as teling him to hide his face.

It would make him feel more confident and yes, he would look better too.

My mother is Jewish. She didn’t have a Jewish nose until she broke it one day.

Now she believes her nose is a badge of honor.

That’s probably a good possibility. Semitic peoples are closely related to each other.

Arabic and Hebrew are quite similar languages.

and that's your opinion, but when you start making out that everyone dates based on physical appearances it's simply not true, and it damages peoples confidence for no reason whatsoever, most people I've known wouldn't date based on physical appearance, most people are just looking for someone kind and caring to spend the rest of their lives with.

The problem with the pictures you posted is that you're trying to make the point with something that is not the point, in those pictures one guy needs dental care and the other needs a shower, these are things about health and hygiene which isn't the issue, these aren't things about physical appearance which is what you're trying to imply, if they took care of basic hygiene their physical appearance wouldn't matter to allot of people, myself included.
