but damn that's a cute thing.


Lead singer for the band Paramore - annoying Pop Punk.

She's got a decent voice but she's surrounded by musicians that do nothing more then hit their instruments. No depth or complexity to them.

Doesn't have to be. Some of the best music,
for me, is more about emotions and such than
technical skill. Thinking things like The Clash and
Violent Femmes.

Go get yourself any Pelican album and you'll understand why I feel the way I feel. The instruments make the emotion.

A band like Pelican doesnt have a vocalist but is still amazing because they do so well with their instruments.

Well clearly there's fantastic instrumental
stuff. I'm just saying that sometimes, a
bunch of guys who DON'T know how to play,
can come across pretty damned well.

In the case of Paramore they come horribly.

It's sad - the lead singer has a lot of potential - she could go into screamo or post hardcore (I have a knack for finding good screamers.)
