Having had drama with an ex means you will cause drama in all your future relationships.
Still loving & caring about an ex means you not love any future partners or will cheat on them with your ex.

It feels like there's no amount of soap that is enough to wash off what I went through. I'm aware that the trust issues that I developed as a result are much too toxic for any future relationship, even if I say nothing at all I still think about it. I stay away from dating for that reason. It has poisoned my life.
