Beards look awesome but yeah, they do make you look older and wiser.

Beards are cool!

I think that Ewan McGregor just looks older with a beard and less attractive looking (like a middle aged dad or something) but not wiser.


I found out recently that it seems to be common that women dislike how stubble/beards feel, and liken it to being rubbed with sandpaper or poked with needles if they try to kiss a guy with stubble / a beard. This is just one random informal topic about it which I found :

It's not compulsory for women to suffer from rashes, outbreaks of plukes, deterrent sensations or pain, chafed skin and diminished enjoyment of kissing just because a guy chooses not to shave and decides to kiss her anyway, it's always an option to choose who she wishes to kiss and when.

If some women actually enjoy the sensation, then fair enough... maybe they have comparatively tough/leathery skin or something ?


For comparison, if I was dating this woman then I would be like "It's your choice whether you want to keep that septum piercing or not - but I am not kissing you until you take that thing out".

This a hundred times. and most beards are ugly. Goatees are tolerable but seriously guys, most beards make you look like Chewbacca's hick cousin.

Probably only those of us with Asian blood, though I do find Asian eyes alluring. Mine are a bit to blue to be Asian but an optometrist once told me my eyes were a millimeter larger than average.

Sculpted beards often strike me as being a bit like this...

i think boys are much prettier without beards.

I think it is *because* my skin is sensitive that I've always been attracted to men with beards - a beard is usually much softer than five o'clock shadow (or stubble). Maybe it depends on the individual beard - haven't ever been that intimate with a man whose beard was coarse or wiry. But then, I tend to go for the Scandanavian type.
