If things shape up in time I don't have to break up with her (hopefully!) 
I still have feelings for her despite the fact that I search the entire campus for another ultra-talented physics girl... (if, by Thursday, I am good enough not to need that girl I'm looking for then I will stay until she breaks up with me because of her sport 
).
