you'd rather have someone who saw the downside of everything?
there are optimists out there, and then there are those who sugar-coat everything and pretend it's all okay.

I always thought that I would be best suited with someone who wasn't like me (extroverted, outgoing, NT), but I don't think so anymore. I think that an aspie female may be good for me.

see, i cant decide between those. i have a lot fo friends who are extroverted. my one friend is the most NT person you'd ever meet, and she's very VERY social and outgoing.
then again, i see like, shy/introverted peeps, and think they seem really cool. but i'm too shy to really know how to innitiate.
i suppose i'll know how to deal with a major introvert if i get to meet my online friend at camp. i hope we dont flop. :P

I remember thinking the same thing myself.

I've often wondered about the likelihood of success, in an Aspie to Aspie relationship. The few men that I've known or met, with AS, either irritated me or aroused my pity. I've yet to feel attracted. This is not to say it's impossible, just what I've experienced so far. I think I would require a mate to be more perceptive than I. I fancy that otherwise, there would be a multitude of opportunities to cause each other emotional pain.
