I'd like to point out that MY first post to this thread was NOT a whine or even a bleepin rant! I was attempting to answer the OPs question as empirically as I possible could. The men on WP certainly do do their share of whining but so do the women! Anywhere else they'd be mercilessly mocked and branded as "losers" because its not considered socially acceptable for men to whine and complain, ESPECIALLY about women.

MissConstrue, you're worrying me a tad. Whatever happened to your sarcastic (sense of)humour? :?

I didn't mean because the rest of the posts were bad, I just meant that the first 4 posts by themselves are a humorous overall summary of human behavior.

Is it incorrect to presume that you're stating 2 contradictory statements to be ironic?

Uh no. Generalizations are stupid. "All women do blah blah blah" is a generalization. We are all humans is a fact.
We all have our own little issues and hangups. I don't put much stock in gender diferences. We're just people.

But the fact that we're all humans is the reason why most generalizations are true! :D
Most people are pretty similar to one another, and human behaviour isnt NEARLY as complex as people would like to think it is.

He totally IS serious. The answer to his question is that chivalry in fact, is not quite dead yet.
BTW Ford_Perfects_Kid: no worries . I wasnt referring to your posts; I was just pointing out that this thread isnt about why some guys cant get a date it was SUPPOSED to be about why women often put the blame on men. I really have no idea why there is this battle of the sexes and why men and women these days are competing but thats the way it is nowadays. :?

It's no different from me asking why all men leave the toilet seat up. I sat on one too many cold basins and found a man that doesn't leave the toilet seat up.

I still don't see how this is possible. If you can lift a lid up, surely you can put a seat down, right?

I blame women. I wouldnt have been abused so much if my mom had protected from. No she chose them over me and decided that since I was being so difficult she would bash the crap out of me too. I remember once maybe a few times she said, 'leave them alone' 'they are my girls but that didnt last long. I would be screaming and my mom would get angry and come and say 'what is going on' and he would say, 'you know what she is like' and then she would tell me off for what the neighbours would think.

I was never allowed to express anything!
