People are talking crap on this thread and I'm leaving. I am going to go see my boyfriend who isn't a JERK!

In all seriousness, I really think you're on to something. Im willing to entertain the possibility that Ive taken this "as*hole/jer/badboy" thing WAY to far to the point where my aggression and hostility is so intense that its scaring women off......

Either way, it was entertaining to read.

Doh! I'm not a christian! My life isn't skewed. You need a wake up call. Why are you so obsessed with women's rights?

LOL. Most guys would just go and find someone better. In most cases, if the guy didn't go to work, the women would be the helpless one. Or if reality tv was taken of the air. Or they had no-one to complain to. Or all the clothes shops were closed for a day.

That's kinda scary dude. You need to work on not letting it get to you so much, or you could get in serious legal trouble someday. TIP: If she can't get a reaction out of you, she has no control. It's all up to you.

Back on topic: I sorta like it when a guy has a bit of a jerk-side to him. No one's perfect, and it can be humanizing to see someone lose that cool exterior once in awhile. Also, I like bantering with people and it's only fun when the other side can give me a hard time as well.

I've been with the "jerk on the outside, humanitarian with a heart of gold on the inside" type and they're very sweet. You feel privileged to be one of the few that knows their softer side.

That being said, do I like being treated badly? Of course not. I try to treat my boyfriends well and I expect the same.

I agree. But the bottom line is that I do NOT want to be in a relationship with a woman who either deliberately provokes me constantly OR who has a demeanor that is provocative! That is what happened in the last relationship I was in. The woman was bipolar and when she was manic she became INCREDIBLY manipulative and when she was in a bad mood she would say, rude, hateful and hurtful things and NO MATTER HOW MANY EFFING TIMES I TOLD HER TO STOP SHE WOULDNT!! !
I know that being emotionally volatile is not a good thing to be but its the way I AM and I just have to find a way to live with it.
Power struggles can turn a relationship into a vicious struggle to the bitter end. So the point is that I need someone who is capable of being sensitive to my emotional tempermeant. BTW, in addition to asperger syndrome I seem to have some bipolar tendencies.

It is obvious why women go for jerks - they are cute and low maintenance! I am only kidding!

Unfortunately there is some truth in treat them mean keep them keen - I am talking BS - only one of my ex's, I would call a jerk - and he treated me like a princess, like 95% of the time - it was the 5% of s**t that eventually made me dump him (I hate that phrase). In the long run women are just human and just like guys want to be treated with respect.

Who wants power over sex - that should always be for fun! Well that is my two pence worth anyway!

For the love of Gawd will someone(female) PLEASE define exactly what are the characteristics of a "Jerk"-the kind that women supposedly like?
I assume that a "jerk" is essentially a male chauvinist pig . That is, a jerk is a guy who treats his woman as a subordinate and plays power games to keep her under control. Thats why jerks are sometimes violent, because violence is means of having power over someone else; thats what domestic abuse is all about. Certain personality types in women produce very strong (emotional)reactions from me. For instance, the more fickle and emotionally unstable a woman is, the more I distrust her and feel the need to "tame" her.

who was being sexist, me? lol. I'm against feminism, which is sexist. And what I said about women is true. Look at that Vern guy aka mini me, he's like 2 foot and ugly. But cause he was in Big Brother, he had loads of women swarming at him. And that always happens, especially in the UK. I don't care how rich or famous a lady was, if she was repulsive, physically or emotionally, I wouldn't touch her with a barge pole.

That's stereotypical, I wouldn't care if a guy was rich and famous either!
