I have pretty much a FWB relationship with my "secondary" (don't like the term) boyfriend....really..I have that with both my partners..I just happen to live with one of them..

They are both my friends..with benefits....they can both talk to me about interests in other girls...No matter what happens, first and foremost we are friends.

I have this belief that real friendship is the most supreme status that human beings can share....so I can definitely say I can prefer it to an intimate relationship with someone who I am not friends with.

What about being a friend and intimate lover at the same time? I've heard that such is how the most stable relationships are formed...

The other nice thing is how those terms, if maintained as an alternative arrangement, can also be how the most unstable "proper" relationships are avoided.

No commitments, no arguing over perceived "expectations" and sh*t, plenty of space... It works out perfectly for me.

That's what I thought we were talking about... at least if you take "intimate lover" to mean partner for physical intimacy, up to and possibly including sex, rather than a person for whom you feel a commitment type of love.

I prefer a "sex slave with benefits" or a "casual relationship with benefits" relationship.

Oh, I was referring to the latter... physical intimacy is all fine and well, but without commitment it means nothing in the end...
