Hello, here is my updated personal ad:

My name is Tim Boyd. I am 26 years old, and I live in Houston, Texas. I thought I was going to relocate to another part of the U.S., but those plans fell through, so I will be staying in Houston.

I was diagnosed with AS in 1996 when I was 16 years old.

My interests are reading, writing, learning foreign languages, weight lifting, independent films, watching TV, and surfing the Net. My favorite TV shows are the Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, and virtually anything on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.

I plan to attend the University of Houston beginning in January of 2007, majoring in geology. I have an Associate degree in Geographic Information Systems, and I work as a mapmaker for a municipal government.

I weigh 195 pounds, and I am 5'10". I have black hair, glasses, and brown eyes. A photo of me is available on request.

I am looking for...

An Aspie woman who does not care about how much money a guy makes, who wants to see the real me, who doesn't think that 26 is too old or too young to be with me (but only women who are at least 18 years old will be considered). I am willing to do long-distance relationships (U.S. only for now, but will consider people outside of the U.S. after I finish school, probably in 2-3 years). Any prospective mate does not have to have the exact same interests as me, but those who do will take higher priority.

I Have Been Spotted too Yay

Hey everyone. I'm a 16 year old professionally diagnosed Aspie currently living in Montreal, Quebec. I'm looking for a relationship with... Well, anyone, really. Guy, girl, maybe even a little bit of both; I'm pretty damn open minded. I'm not going to cut down what few choices I likely have by listing what I think my ideal mate would be, just that if there's someone else who's considering a serious relationship (as serious as teenage love can possibly get, anyways) that they live somewhere relatively close by.

I'd tell a bit about myself, but frankly there isn't too much to say. I'm an overall nice guy, though most people would say otherwise. I'm just a bit sarcastic and playful, and I usually won't even bother acknowledging people that seriously piss me off... Get on my nice side, though, and I can be one of the nicest people you ever meet without being overbearing or clingy. As for my interests... To put it simply, my interests are you, baby!

Er, but seriously, my general interests are what you'd find in the typical Aspie, you know, computers, video games, that kind of stuff. I don't really have any sort of all-consuming obsession that I'm always thinking about, so I've always got time for what's on other people's minds. I'd try to put up a picture of myself, but sadly (or luckily depending on how you see it, but I consider myself to look rather decent to be modest) I can't seem to connect my digital camera to my PC without it crashing or making my computer sound like it's full of angry bees.

If anyone out there is reading this but isn't considering some sort of 'deep' relationship, I'm always looking for friends, either meeting up in real life or purely as e-buddies. Please PM me either way, or else I'll be sad... And you don't want me to cry, do you? Do you? *whimper*

If your digital camera won't work, get a regular pic scanned and e-mail it to yourself. Or get a webcam and do a still shot. Or something.

In this day and age, nobody will believe you can't get a pic. They'll think you're hiding something. Trust me on this!

Eh, a lot of the other people in this topic didn't bother with pictures, so I didn't really think it was really 'necessary'. And I'm probably blowing this way out of context, but it's kind of creepy (and to be completely honest, pretty ****ing hot) that a 40 year old woman is indirectly asking for my picture. Anyways, I'll try to dig around for a webcam I'm pretty sure I've got buried in a drawer somewhere or try to find a shot of myself stashed somewhere on my computer, so that you may all gaze in awe at my extreme averageness.

Ok, this should be fun...
