That is not too different from how I am now :D
Beer was on sale (as it always is), woohoo.

Except I see "bud light". Is that beer without alcohol or something? Blech. I am opposed to anything "light" or "diet", I want actual food and actual drinks. No fake crap.

I've never seen beer on sale here, only the lättöl or folköl (I think max 2,25% and the other one max 3,something) from the Lidl  Anything stronger and you have to go to Systembolaget...
haha I have no idea I would guess no alcohol or less carbs... but I don't know how you can make beer with less carbs, makes no sense 8O

I agree real food is mostly better, better to eat less of it instead of light that tastes crappy. But I do drink Cola Zero, I don't get the point of drinking calories like that. But that is the only fake crap that tastes good :)

I just got back in again after getting some beer from my car.
I heard in Sweden they have those communist government alcohol stores, I really don't understand that at all. If you live in a cold place people need alcohol, it's how the Russians survived all those years. The beer I bought was below 1 euro per liter, it's cheaper than milk, and without alcohol tax it would be even cheaper.

The People's Republic of Sweden must drink this glorious communist beer:

We had King's Day, Remembrance Day, Liberation Day, and now Hemelvaart, and there are probably a few religious holidays I don't remember. There are also school holidays.

I wouldnt consider that all of them are practicing, my generation grew up watching Father Ted (comedy). We have 9 public holidays in Ireland the same as the Netherlands!

. Yup people be crazy, are they going to get crazier though? Guys owning hair straighteners and using sunbeds is a norm now, I mean if blokes look that well groomed, and the mens toiletries industry is growing, where does it all end? I can't handle the type of pressure that would accompany such high maintenance company.

I don't really understand non-practicing Catholics. Either you're with the pope or against him.
There is a growing number of non-theistic Christians though, I have no idea what they see in Christianity if they do not accept the basic premise of one God.

Haha :) Yes I think it comes from the politicians trying to save the people, part of me thinks that maybe people would be drunk all the time like the Russians...
But Swedish people are bad drinkers, in Nederland it's more about Gezelligheid and in Sweden it's more about getting drunk
But the Systembolaget is very special, I think only Sweden has it in all of Europe?

Pure speculation on my part, and also to keep this light hearted, for some its a moral guide, an identity, its also for their children, so that they will be included in community/school based events.

I don't know, I see enough drunk people here. Instead of government alcohol stores we have government casinos, not sure what is more commie. Maybe Swedes are bad drinkers because the government treats them like children.
I believe it's our non-God-given right to get drunk or to gamble, because YOLO.

(don't go to the casinos, they are better at calculating the odds than you are.)

Yes, they are probably more "cultural" Catholics. Participate in all the festivals, Carnaval is pretty big in the Catholic regions here. It's basically a party with lots of beer, and people skip the traditional fasting that precedes it because it's convenient. For some the Catholic identity may also be a reaction to the more sober Calvinist traditions (sober in every way).

In other words, more "community spirit" than "Holy Spirit".

Maybe, but I doubt it. People just drive to Germany to get cheap booze.
We also have government casinos...so we win...or maybe more like we loose.

Not very different here, Dutch people drive to Germany for cheaper booze and cigarettes, and Germans come here for the weed and cheaper groceries.

Boo sets Tinder to a certain region and just likes every girl, the "It's a match!" means a girl likes him back.

I think I figured it out, all the Lebanese girls are pulling the same stunt so Boo is liking them when they fake being in Mexico while they too are faking being in Mexico. :)

Lol, the lebanese-mexican community btw are wealthy.

I've tried Chile, Santiago, and I got far less matches.

They obviously have way more "Whites" , blondes and European-looking than Mexico.
