I think I recall an article where he was called "autism's most eligible bachelor" - jeez ladies, what are you waiting for?

I was actually joking, but somebody took offense to that. I'm old enough to be his mother, and I'm married. However, when I saw the pics he put up, I commented that now everybody would start mentioning him in this thread. I thought that since I said that on FB, I would comment on it here.

Now, there is a poster who is very upset that some women do like guys to have nice cars, and of course, because of my joke, I must be a goldigger.

For the record, I'm afraid to go over 55 anywhere. I'll freak completely out. Sad for an ex speed demon, but it's true. Also, convertables are very dangerous. If it flips, your dead. You can get thrown out of it.

I'm a very nervous rider, and in fact I probably have pushed many people very close to homicide while driving me anywhere. I see death around every turn and every car trip I take I'm constantly watching the road and seeing all kinds of possible accidents. Probably, the dream car for me to ride in would be a tank, or something just as heavy and indescructable and slow.

So, if my joke offended anyone, or contributed to anyones insecurity, I'm sorry that you feel that way. Also, I'm entirely too old for anyone to care what I would or wouldn't like. Personally, if I were single and I dated a guy based on anything other than whether or not I like him, it would be on the fact that he's an OB/GYN and I want my damn hysterectomy! I'm sick of the menopause and I want it over with now. So yeah, I'd date a guy for surgery. Sure would.

Back to your regularly scheduled lighthearted thread.

I want my partner to *have* a car.

And for the record, Jags are terribly expensive to maintain. They're more of a status symbol than a utility machine. *shrug*

Of course, I say that, and then follow up with, "But I'd be uncomfortable if my partner picked me up in a Pinto, though." :P

I suppose I'm shallow that way. :/

Also, my count is up to 4. Woot! I don;'t know why I'm counting, though. :/

LOL! If I were OLDER and had the opportunity, I would choose Alex as well. I feel the same about fast cars, they're pretty but scary! People who called you names or jumped on your case are quite ridiculous and you need not worry about said-individuals.

Autism's Most Eligible Bachelor?
Hmmm... Doesn't that sound slightly desperate in that message in itself?

Who's counting anyways? People who get on here will pick each other anyhow.

With the current desire around Jags, does anyone think Saabs are cool, or is that just me?
