Question for members who are "religious"

That is fine.
People are entitled to their own opinion but a lot of people assume I believe in Christianity because I believe in the supernatural.
The fact of the matter is I am a firm believer in evolution, inter dimensional things at work also and spiritual energy.
It hits a nerve with me to be called stupid when I have experienced things as have people very close to me.
Thats good if all athiests are not arrogant, because I have yet to meet one who doesn't question the intelligence of someone who is not an athiest. Like I said, I have athiest friends, but I do not talk to them about religion.
I could not date one because to me a proper relationship is a connection on a deeper level and if they don't like spirituality, simply, they don't like me.

Alright. My fiancee is Catholic, but is still a firm believer in evolution, she even works in a scientific field.
I have experienced what some may call "psychic" occurrences, in which I get a feeling that something will happen before it does. And while I have no explanation for those occurrences I still have no need to attempt to explain them with spirituality or anything religious.
I would say we are in agreement at this point so further discussion is unnecessary.

I certainly would not date someone who calls me stupid. Sorry if that sounds like a generalisation, but I have never ever met an athiest who does not do this. Ever.
People don't have to follow my beliefs, very few do anyway, but I don't like being told i'm STUPID because I believe in stuff in which i've had experience with (spirituality, not religion).
I'm not advocating for christianity. I don't follow their beliefs and don't agree with what they think, but i'm not going to come onto a forum and call them STUPID, each to their own, don't try and convert me and we are all fine.

I understand where you are coming from but alot of Atheists aren't like that. I mean sure their is a decent amount of the staunch elitist atheists but they make the good ones looks bad just like the super far right Christians make normal Christians looks bad. I myself would date a Christian as long as she/he are trying to force their views upon me.
