I could probably come up with at least 7 in the next 30 seconds."] When I said that it was better for people with Asperger's to establish a relationship with other people with Asperger's than with an NT person because they would understand each other better, that was just my opinion, and I was basing my response on personal experience. I know that even people with Asperger's don't always get along with other people with Asperger's. Sometimes, my boyfriend and I don't always get along, either. No relationship is perfect. I just meant that a relationship between two people with Asperger's might be better than a relationship between a person with Asperger's and an NT person, because they both have the disorder, and therefore both experience the same difficulties in socializing. Plus, a person with Asperger's doesn't have to explain the disorder to another person with Asperger's like they would with an NT person, because they both have it. Again, like I said before, I never told any of the guys I went out with that I have it, because they wouldn't have understood. That, and we only went out a couple of times, because there was never a mutual attraction, but that's not the point. The point is, in an Asperger relationship, there is no pressure to have to try explain yourself, and to try to make the other person understand why you are the way you are. Do you see what I'm saying? I'm sorry if I was not clear.[/quote]
