One of the awesome things with aspies is that if you;re willing to talk things through, it's virtually impossible to ever piss them off. All aspies ever want is to know you show some commitment to the conversation and aren't just in a spiral of jeremiads.

I'm not so happy with being single either. In fact, whenever I don't look for love or expect it, I'll meet someone. But when I do want to find love, it doesn't come to me.

Another reply to "I Can't Believe You're Still Single," is to say, "I can't Believe you Care!"

That always leads to "But you're such a great guy, I want to see you happy."

After awhile, I started saying "OK, so do something about it." Some of them tried, but they never got it right.

I find this behavior extremely puzzling. Why on earth would they care? I used to have co=workers try to match me up with people, when I had not asked them to. Resulting in embarrassment all around.

I find that a lot of people have this "I know what's best for everybody" attitude, and you can't possibly be happy unless you're doing whatever it is that they think is supposed to make people happy. It's a rather narrow worldview, to be honest.

I think marriage/dating/romance is very popular. It's a cultural assumption. A theme in every movie and story, it seems.

I'm imagining a world where nobody was involved in said activity. A hundred years later...
