Most people don't find me incredibly attractive, so I don't consider myself incredibly attractive. But I'm not by any means ashamed of the way I look. My point was if I can do it, unless you're a complete dick or an ogre or something, you should be able to do it too... And people shouldn't make appearence a deal breaker in the first place.

In all honesty, I don't know exactly how that got distributed everywhere. I did send it into a site a long time ago, but it wasn't meant as a joke. Although it wasn't totally serious either. Like, I don't think I look cool wearing that stuff or anything, but I was bored and decided to take a random picture. After a while, in '06, it ended up on ebaum's world as fan of the month for the month of may, and from there it just spread like wildfire, most likely because people look at it and go "lol, what a nerd" and then feel better about themselves. That's okay though.

No, see, what you don't understand is while I can find certain features ugly, I've never been like awestruck by any female's "beauty." Such a concept is fairly foreign to me. I have no such "type," but I will say that I do enjoy the extra ass and love handles a BBW possesses.

See, I talk to people before I judge. I get to know their personality. If I don't like that, I move on. If I do, I grow closer to them, and I "learn to love" the way they look, for lack of a better term. I never find them unattractive in the first place, but I wouldn't pick them out of a crowd and be amazed by their appearance either... But then again, I don't do that s**t anyway. Appearance hasn't and never will be important to me, and I rather hate how most people in this world seem to think what's important is how everything looks; not how it functions, whether or not it even does function, or much of anything beyond appearance. It's annoying, because it makes most of the world one gigantic cardboard cutout.

My german is not exactly fluent... so no, technically, I am not. I've never been to germany, but my ancestors come from switzerland and germany on my mother's side(3 brothers came to america in the 1700s and two of the fought in the revolutionary war). I know NOTHING of my father's side. However, I am fascinated by language, my highschool offered a german class(taught by an austrian woman who told us she went to school with or grew up in the same town where Arnold Schwarzenegger did. So being of german ancestry, and simply loving the way the language sounds, I had to take it in highschool.

I have standards too. I just have a different idea of what to base the standards on.

Also, can I point something out? You just told 1000knives that what he said was a little low, which says you at least have feelings. Why can't you apply those same feelings to the girl whose message you posted in this thread? I'm sure she has feelings too(if she's even real, that is). You should treat other people the way you want to be treated.

And for the record, if physical appearance is the primary motivator for deciding whether or not to date or bang somebody, then YES, you ARE shallow. No amount of denial can change that.

Such is life. Look around you, you don't see too many fat ugly dudes with supermodels unless of course said fat ugly dude is driving a new Lexus or BMW. It's the same way for women, too, don't see many fat ugly women with bodybuilder boyfriends. You see exceptions to both rules, but yeah.

Having AS lowers your value, it's that simple. It makes you go, say, from a 10, to a 6-7. Some people get lucky, and then find someone who finds them valuable, like, say, someone rummaging through a tagsale looking for a rare item or something. One man's trash is another's treasure, or in our scenario, woman's treasure. So that's what you hope for. Otherwise you will be valued as damaged or inferior goods by others. It's the reason why exactly AS is a curse. Because you're given so much "potential" and only 1-2% of the time can it be utilized to meet the expectations you would like out of yourself, and the ones others place upon you.

So, my friend, DerStadtschutz, he's just accepted he will have a girlfriend, that, well, is on par with him lookswise. There's numerous things he could do to change it, but he's decided it's not worth his effort to try and has accepted things and is happy(ish?) In life, if a problem is presented, you have two choices, adapt and overcome the problem, or accept the limitation the problem gives. Eventually you die, and this cycle ends (actually, you may have to fight various demons and stuff in purgatory/Orthodox tollhouses/Hades.) My friend decided to accept the limitations his problem gave him. Most of us do this with many things in life. For example, I could decide it's a problem that I don't own my own skyscraper to keep all to myself. I could decide to go about solving this problem, but the reason I don't is because it's not worth the trouble compared to the alternative (not having a skyscraper.)

So anyway, there's your choices. You may end up with the great personalitied, smart, super model you feel you deserve, or you may not. In the mean time, the reality of your situation is that comparing this to fishing, the river is full of small little sunfish with no meat on them, and you want a 18 inch bass. So you decide whether to go home with the sunfish, or go home with nothing, or wait forever for the bass. I decided to wait forever/stay home. The choice is yours.

you want hot girl? Then you have to play in their game. Meaning find a way to make them want you. And im quite sure everything youve done in this forum is the oposite of what they want.

To add to all this, I don't want someone who would love to be with me in the event that I stumble upon large quantities of money or lose a lot of weight and gain a bunch of muscles, or whatever, but would never give me the time of day in my current fat state. Such a person isn't worth my time and will be next to impossible to keep happy. "you don't deserve me at my best if you can't accept me at my worst."

In other words, I want someone who will love me for WHO I am, not what I have or what I look like.
