so you prefer women to be at a lower weight than yourself, proportional to their height. your BMI (flawed as that calculation is) puts you in the overweight category, whereas your preferred women are in the lower end of "normal" or even "underweight". what you are seeking is about a 2 or at most a 3 in that chart.

First of all, I resent that!

Second of all, I'm perfectly normal in weight, so said my doctor!

Last statistic I read, the average woman was about 140 pounds, the average man 160 (Do pardon the lack of proper units there). Of course, these numbers are much higher for Americans.

here, plug the numbers in yourself. i am not making it up:

i don't think it is a good tool for deciding if a person is healthy so i am not making any judgement about your level of health or anything like that. a person can be morbidly obese and still healthy! so if you doctor say you are healthy then great.

but since you are choosing which women are attractive according to weight i am using your own weight as a comparison. you are several degrees larger than the women you are attracted to, which i can't quite understand. it seems like.... if you expect women to be attracted to you even though you are overweight, then you would also be just as understanding of them if they are overweight!

but you are not the only person who has said something similar in the thread - there was at least one other member who had the same disconnect between their own body size and their expectations of their dating partners.

Do you really think thin women are more feminine? They have no curves either. No butt, no boobs. Harsh facial shapes.

Only if I was obese myself and she's not morbidly obese and showers daily! I know this might be offensive to some but I have come across some morbidly obese folks who smell like they haven't showered in weeks and the bo is atrocious. Just my worthless 2 yen there but if she's clean and slightly obese id give it a shot!

i am not insulting you - just telling you the medical category for your size. i don't judge people negatively according to body weight because..... unlike you, i would date a 9. it is you who would not date someone who has the same BMI as yourself, not me.

I don't mean to sound shallow or offensive in my prior post or offend those who are morbidly obese I'm just being honest with my take on the matter. There are those born fat and those who let themselves go to far and don't bother to take care of themselves anymore leading to lack of hygene. Its a serious issue for others as well because its sometimes hard to stop eating fatty foods or sweets beacause they taste good can be addicting and are cheaper than healthy foods also with getting out and exercising can be tiresome so its easier not being active and that's how some get obese over time easily. To remedy that cut down on the foods at least in half and begin half hour walks then hour walks then go on hour bike rides to raise metabolism to lose weight faster. But remember this you must do it for yourself first and others second and your self esteem will go up and youl lose weight quicker and over time your metabolism will be at a rate where you can eat more fatty foods like before without going obese but id recommend to try and eat health foods in between for keeping from having diabetes or heart complications.

I don't care about a little pudge, but if someone is so heavy they have trouble getting around or hiking it would eliminate the activities I would like to do with someone.
One thing is some medications will make you gain weight and it's not because the person is being gluttonish.Mood stabilizers,anti-psychotics and some anti-depressants will do this.
And it depends on your height,if your short those extra ten pounds really stand out.
I won't take mood stabilizers, took depakote once.Oh no no no,never again. Not only did it bloat me my cholesterol went up to a deadly level.Quit it ,weight came off, cholesterol went down. I'd rather have mood swings.I think lots of women and men go off meds because of the weight issue. And real skinny people look unhealthy to me,it always amazes me that some people actually have trouble gaining.
I'd rather have a man with a nice boner rather than a boney man.

But sweets are delicious! Who can stop eating them?
