if a guy sleeps with 100 ugly women is he an alpha?

I'd say a "6" man who beds 100 "6" women would be admired by 6 and below... but mocked by "7-8's" and above.

Not really, people have different priorities when it comes to partners. Many of the "forever alone" guys here have had chances to atleast get laid but refused cause they didn't find the girl not enough. I'm not saying as a male you're forced to say yes always, but don't say its impossible when you actually mean I want more than I can get.

One time this guy told me his strategy for picking up women in bars. He'd find the fattest girl (least value in his mind) in the bar and say something nice to her. Then he'd attempt to pick up women in the bar, starting with the one he deemed the most attractive (high value.) If he hadn't found a receptive prospect a certain time before closing he'd return to the fattest girl.

I thought this strategy made sense, except I prefer fat girls. So my number 1 was his last resort. When he found out he got very upset, saying I was upsetting the apple cart and playing by different rules than everyone else. I said I liked what I liked. I only did this strategy a couple times, when I was with him (fellow soldiers on the same daytime assignment.) I got my first choice, the hottest girl in the bar, one of those times. He had yet to get his first choice, his hottest girl in the bar. So who's more alpha? And when everybody plays by their own rules and has different preferences does "Alpha" really mean anything?

Somehow I think NT people reach some sort of consensus and follow the herd as to who is attractive or "high-value" regardless of what they truly feel, so maybe "Alpha" means more to them. It doesn't mean much of anything to me.

I agree - the attractiveness of a person is often group-determined and a person with tastes that the group disagrees with tends to get ridiculed

Ever notice the double standard for having many sexual partners? If a guy has sex with a bunch of girls, the he's "the man". If a girl has sex with a bunch of guys, then she's a filthy slut.

It’s the law of conservation of filth: a man having sex with a woman gets rid of his load, which goes to her. Therefore, the more women a man has sex with, the cleaner he is, while the more men a woman has sex with, the filthier she is, q.e.d. :P

Believe it or not, that double standard was created mainly by women to be used vs other women. The degradation and shaming of the label 'slut' is a social protective counter-measure against the women who would be sleeping with 'their' men and steal them or take resources away from the children they've had with the guy.

Next time pay attention to which 'side' uses the term more often and in what context. Guys will use it in a descriptive manner (say, to point out an 'easy' girl) while women use it to shame and perform character assassination against another woman.
