but I should be. meterialistic is normal and considered right.
I need to learn how to be that and stop being caring and kind.

in the good book it says one should be in this world but not of it, for it is a transitory world and not a terribly noble world either. so if you give up the golden rule you let the forces of evil win by default.

do what you feel appropriate. but I must say that if one doesn't fight evil one eventually succumbs to it.
idk how but I must try I think. though being mean and cruel doesn't come easy to me. o.O
that is a big fat sign that being mean and cruel is WRONG for any earthly reason.
how so? to 90% of the population being mean and cruel comes natural, to many its so natural they can't stop nore think/care they are doing it.
not everything that is "natural" necessarily is a good thing. earthquakes are "natural" but that doesn't make them good things.
but were dealing with human interaction. and humans see cruel and mean as good and normal.
I'm often told so by people. many people say only way to get a head in work is to cheat, lie, and steal. and everyone does it.
ex friend always told me I'm too kind and weak and need to toughen up which meant being cruel adn mean and not having emotions ie getting sad when people are mean and cruel. his way was to be mean and cruel to me.

don't make aholes your template for good human beings when they are just plain evil. you don't want to conform to the requirements of evil.
