My only advice: try hard to find someone to click with during college years, because it is the phase when you meet the highest number of new people - and try to maintain whatever friendships you develop from there.

I still have fears I will have to become someone like my older brother if I want things to change. He's a complete racist, sexist, homophobe, and self-serving "Christian" but it seems like those are the only men who succeed, atleast here in the Bible Belt.

Liars,cheaters and abusers seem to have no problem getting woman after woman after woman. It also helps them get ahead in work and so get more income. They do whatever it takes to get them ahead even if means hurting others and they get rewarded for such actions.

Yet those who keep the moral ground like me get nothing

I try to keep "the high moral ground"--and I've gotten somewhere.

I don't know what to say, Man.

You just have to go out and experience more people.

yes, that sounds like a devil's bargain, doesn't it? I would not take that bargain, just to have worldly success.

I'd have to work hard at lying and cheating
I've always done what's right and legal. Even when it hurts me. But maybe it's better to lie ones way into a relationship? Seems to work for a lot of people and is advice I've been given

do you know how hard it is to keep track of a bunch of lies? too much work for me, it's easier just to be minimally honest. ben franklin said it best when he said "honesty is the best policy" and "'tis better to keep silent and as a fool be thought, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

I'm almost 20 years old and I don't have a girlfriend either. I understand it can be very frustrating at times but that is no reason to just give up.

I don't want to give up but getting out of my rut has been extremely discouraging and often times unproductive. I feel like I'm way too far behind and catching up feels like a dream. Some have told me I am on my own time and no one else's but it feels like progress just never happens no matter what I do.

Pretty much sad most of the time now except when I play video games. That's it my only reason to live is video games so pointless

I use to think that but I've come to the realization that some men never feel love or have relationships it's always been that way probably always will some men are just so worthless they only exist to serv others or die so others can get something
