And me. Only... my tash is very thin. Im thinkin of growin it thogh. Still 2 major obsticles thogh - 1) Baltic Sea, 2) Ashlea Perryman. The only girl i coud ever imagine myself with nowadays.

I have to say 2) is probably a bigger obsticle than 1)

Appearance - Not 2 bothered really..but not so thin that i panic about snapping her in half when i hug her, and not so..ehem...large, that i can't breathe when she hugs me (example: my ex, Nichola *shudder*) I'm not bothered about hair/eye colour, but i have 2 say my weakness is red-heads with green eyes.

Personality - Kind and funny. Someone who will actually like me 4 who i am. Interest in music, preferably classic rock, but i ain't 2 bothered about any specific taste in bands. Can play an' instrument of some kind.

If they can make me laugh it's a plus; and they can't be too clingy: I greatly enjoy hearing about other people my girl friends have mated with, and generally wrankle when they leave it all on me to satisfy them and keep them entertained. Of course the way they are has to give me feelings... but that's something you can't quantify, more a roll of the dice whether we "click" or not.

Physically, as long as you're healthy I really can't say what qualifies as looking good or looking bad. Fat, skinny, tall, short, clumsy, able, it's all just ways to make each person more unique. If you are comfortable with yourself enough to not expect secrecy or tact from me, then that's all I really could ask for; the body differences are but ways to explore. Unless of course you happen to be a very cute ferret!

My Answer: I do not believe he exists.

The question wasn't whether they exist, it's what would describe that person.

Okay, so you are asking about what a perfect-imaginary partner would be like. I am not so very good at this type of thing as it would depend on my imaginary position in life, too.

My life as it is, the type of person I enjoy being around is someone with a good sense of humor and a kind heart that enjoys life as much as I do. I believe this type of person exists somewhere.

I guess I don't really see a point in thinking about what is not real as it seems it would only cause a person to be disappointed when the "ideal person" never materializes.

Why would I want an Ideal Partner when I am no where even near perfect? I think in a relationship, you generally love your partner despite of the fact that they have a few traits that are less than "ideal" - - I also think that I have over-thought this whole thread, and possibly misunderstood its original purpose, and so I give you all my appologies and will humbly bow out.

My ideal girlfriend - let me see, this is going to be difficult:

physical: don't care as long as she isn't obviously ugly.

age: 19-25 (I am 19 - I prefer older women)

political orientation: must be left-wing

personality:

a) must have something unique about them (i.e. not quite normal) but not too strange.

b) compassionate. Must be aware of my needs and the problems of wider society.

c) absolute tolerance

d) truthful

e) sense of humour, but not cynical or sarcastic

f) have depth of charactor, ie. not shallow or superficial
