I think you are brave for sharing your trials on a public forum, it's clear you are more motivated than you were in your 20s and that's always a good sign you are ready to go back fishing :D

Not sure how brave it is to share a trial long past! Probably just typical Asperger's frankness. The brave ones are the present-day sufferers sharing their current similar trials. Not sure I'd have felt able to do that, even if we'd had the internet back then.
