Yeah, I think you were out of line here, Sweetleaf. It was pretty apparent to me that Boo's retort was playful and good-natured.

Even if it wasn't, bringing his ethnicity and his country's culture into the conversation the way you did comes across as pretty prejudiced, given that you're ascribing views to him that he doesn't hold and has never claimed to hold, based on his geographical location.

And I don't know much about Lebanon, so maybe I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that Lebanon is one of the more secular middle-eastern countries.

The whole tit-for-tat comeback remark's point was: That men who want to have mustaches is no one's business (even if outdated, and even if most women find it ugly) as much as women wanting leg hair is no one's business (regardless of what others prefer), I was clearly doing parallels . So nothing of that sort shall be outlawed just because what people of the opposite sex generally prefer.

Overall from personal experience I noticed Lebanese men treat women much better than I see in other areas... Their ladies are given everything in what I saw... Benefit of doubt... Gifts... Special treatment.. Etc..
