Imagine if you would meet someone outside of a bar?

Bars are just lousy venues to meet people.

Outside of bars, the rules regarding appropriate behavior still apply.

I would say that, morally, they apply equally, but women who have been drinking may be less aware of concerning behavior and might not notice when someone breaks the rules.

Sober women may be less likely to call out problematic behavior even though they are more inclined to notice it.

I'd guess he only does this to people he's attracted to, so it happens to only women because he's heterosexual. It could still be a subconscious autism thing, but I agree that it's something he should make an effort to stop.

If sexual attraction is involved, as it apparently is since he only stares at women, it’s not solely an autism thing although autism could contribute to the behavior on some level, I suppose. It’s still not a valid excuse.

My guess would be his autism makes him prone to look at people he finds attractive for too long. I'd imagine it's a subconscious thing that he would be able to improve on with a conscious effort.

Talking about why something is happening isn't the same as excusing it. It's important to understand the nature of an issue in order to properly address it.

Some of my other friends were talking to that girl before she made the remark to me. Maybe my other mates pissed her of perhaps?

The girl was in her early 20s I think or maybe 19. One of my friends who is 67 was trying to chat her up beforehand but she quickly walked away.
