Bachelor's Compendium: Home, Life and Love
I've been absent for some good reasons and I will tell some now. Firstly, I found a wonderful woman/girl who accepts me in every way. She's brilliant and I can't stop looking at her gorgeous blue eyes, or stop being amazed with her intelligence and insight. I have also been focusing on fortifying my career future.
Interestingly, I found this thread on IMDB where women rate who is the sexiest among the players in HBO's "Rome".

Reading it through, there are some surprises. NT women can be very irrational, but some choices that would seem irrational may have a very rational evolutionary (adaptive) base. Physical or political power, wit and cunning all play high. My favorite characters, Lucius Vorenus and Gaius Octavian, who may also be the most Vulcan or Aspie of the characters, do well on physicality alone. I appreciate these characters for they are more driven by principles, and sternly so. In this sense of principled devotion, they are nigh selfless. They are driven by higher ideals or duty.
The arrogant, lascivious Mark Anthony ranks high. The show actually gives this man more credit in political craftiness than any, but his impulsiveness is his undoing, and what keeps him from being as successful as Julius Caesar. His rapier wit and his word fencing cunning goes unnoticed when overwhelmed by what women describe as a "smoldering sexuality". The second highest rating goes to the sleeper hit in Brutus, possibly because of his "baptism in the river" scene. Titus Pullo also ranks high, but his brash pirate, animal qualities are probably only redeemed by his tender. protective side. Julius Caesar also ranks high. True power, not to mention his regal and erudite nature, can indeed be aphrodisiacs.

Thoughts? I think it's reassuring that it takes all types, but whatever the type, a sense of ascending power and confidence in oneself is recurrent. If you don't have faith in yourself, can you expect a mate to have faith for you?
