I was so rooting for May. Ramsay has a bit of a weak stomach, he's always spitting/barfing in his own shows too.
I sort of started to like Ramsay after he made a documentary on shark fin soup and how awful that is, managed to convince a bunch of Chinese restaurants in England to stop serving it. They often cut off the fin and just toss the living shark back, it's illegal but no one cares.

Oh I didn't know about his weak stomach, I was just happy to see his arrogance being beaten :)

Didn't know about that documentary either, that's definitely commendable; but I did hear about the way Chinese prepare their meals or prepare their traditional medicine - boiling dogs alive, which they have previously skinned, no anaesthetics since that would apparently spoil the taste, gall bladder bear factories, etc that's against every law there is but no one cares about it either.

That "traditional medicine" crap is awful, these ignorant fools are driving species to extinction all because of their superstition. Sad to be a species that goes extinct because of idiots with shrimp brains, you just got hunted to extinction by the stupidest people in the world who want to eat ground tiger dick instead of popping a viagra. Take the blue pill!

Also the fur coats that are so popular in Europe among the yobbos, the black coats with fur on top. Many of them are not fake, because it is cheaper to breed foxes or whatever in cages in China than to use fake fur.

And Ramsay definately has problems with food, he often gets sick during shows, puking or getting diarrea. Maybe it varies from person to person, but I have never been sick from food in my entire life. Either he has a weak stomach or he eats rotten dogshit straight up.

Yeah, I don't get how China means to develop since they're so stuck in superstition and destruction of nature. I read that their levels of pollution are so high that they are even affecting birth weights - more and more babies are being born there with low birth weight.

I watched the documentary one time when they showed how they're breeding garlic at dumpsters, and exporting it abroad. most of the garlic here and everything else is from China. I don't dare to touch it since I fear that it might be
radioactive.

And wow, I didn't know about them rather breeding foxes than making synthetic fur, that's abominable :?

They used to be a country of Confucius and great emperors, now they're a country of cheap produces and cruelty towards the animals and nature.

People suck sometimes, that there always is such a need for destruction and hate/indifference for animals. I still feel sick to my stomach when I think about the video from PETA about angora rabbits in China. This stupidity of humans to believe that we humans have the only right to the world and that it was made for only us. Instead of being happy that we are alive and there are magnificent creatures among us and take care of them, then we have to destroy and hurt them. When there is a wolf around, then people immediately say we have to shoot it before it hurts someone… yeah no irony there…

yeah exactly, I remember when bunch of crazy idiots here at the seaside attacked one snake...it wasn't even a poisonous snake, but they all collectively butchered her anyway. Just for being a wild little snake. So stupid and cruel.

People are dangerous, stupidity is dangerous. We need to respect animals, we have brains so why not relocate the animals or stay out of their area, problem solved.

(I farked the quote tree so I just removed it all)

Even the Chinese don't trust the crap they produce. Stores around here have limited the amount of beer and babyfood people can buy because the Chinese minority in the Netherlands mass buys beer and babyfood to sell it to mainland Chinese. Since there are over a billion Chinese it results in empty shelves.

I don't see why they don't ban fur from China here, with this climate you definately don't need a fur coat, actually makes you look like an idiot, Siberia is the other way. That the Chinese are ruining their environment and are horrible to animals doesn't surprise me, the government obviously doesn't care for their people since they are a bunch of commie dictators. Every time I hear people talk of Chinese "capitalism" I die a little inside, it's an old fashioned one party state that severely restricts economic activity and personal freedoms.

That mindset is changing somewhat, we had a wolf in the Netherlands a few weeks ago and everything went fine. Earlier there was a wolf who got hit by a car and died. One reason there are so few wolves in many parts of Europe is because they were actively hunted down.

We can only hope, but people really go crazy here when there is a wolf, and mostly there is only one that is seeking a mate. And wolfs attack in packs.
Last time someone was killed in Sweden by a wolf was in 1821, in the wild that is.

Indeed, well i think some really enjoy feeling being dominant, especially when in a mob, collective aggression takes over and why not enjoy a god kill? even though it's completely pointless.

Hehe, I remember a mod removed a picture I posted because it had f**k or s**t in it, but that is more than a year ago. But then anything goes in this thread.

And here is a big F U to the commies, just because this is a free country.

And guess what I'm drinking? Beeeeeer!

Bondkatten, can you understand something of Icelandic? I know Norwegian and Danish are somewhat close, and Icelandic is fairly different from Swedish. I'm listening to a song they used in the Vikings show, it's in Icelandic and it has a few verses of the Poetic Edda, the one about the beginning and end of the world. It's a Norwegian guy singing in Iceland (I think), translation is below it in the reactions. He even has a lute! Music really fits the Vikings show, they have some more Wardruna things.

And of course another communist cat:

Beer! I had a little beer yesterday, german grapefruit beer, not bad at all :)

It's a beautiful song, but unfortunately I don't understand any of it. It is to different from Swedish. The old mythology is very interesting, I used to read about it when I was young, a long time ago :)

It's interesting there are still a bunch of placenames here named after the old gods, towns like Woensdrecht (Wodan's Ford, Wodan is the Dutch name for Odin), Wednesbury in England, and of course the days of the week. You'd expect the Christians to get rid of that first.

I can't understand the Icelandic either, and I know the grammar is also a bit more difficult. What I remember from the mythology is that "Heimdall's sons" is a euphemism for all humanity.
